i have a house full of 5 fosters who were on the chopping block at my work currently, and a move in date set in about 2 weeks!!!!!

i will absolutely try my best to post bc i really want to keep this going, if only just something small and simple to push the story along!!! thank you so much everyone for being patient with me!!!

I'll try to post sometime in the next few days! I will be traveling soon, so I'm going to move my characters out of the way until I return. My brother @TheClockmaker will be traveling as well. I'll be discussing with him about what he'll do with his cats. In any case, feel free to move your chars if they are interacting with any of ours. Just let us know in the discussion. ^^

You're taking care of 5 fosters and you're moving so soon? That's so much! I don't want to stress you out more with the roleplay. A short post would be fantastic to keep the story going, but no worries if you don't have time.

Hello all my lovely friendly writers, how are you?

ONE ] Selas is off on a plane for vacation and has placed the rp in my hands (to which I am very honored). I recognize my duty to keep this rp afloat until they return, and I entirely believe we can all do it. I know writing is hard with such unpredictability in activity, but you all have kept this alive together, and that is no small feat. So I deeply thank you for your commitment to our story and our characters, and the development that comes with something long term.

TWO ] The medicine cat apprentice role is now open once again. Selas and I recognize how difficult it can be to write with such a role hopping around so often. I have interest from one user right now, to take up the med app role, but if you're interested and are an existing player, you are more than welcome to let me know! Right now more than ever, the med apprentice is very important for plot and can drastically support the movement of our plot. Selas and I plotted a lot together and we are still scratching the surface, and we hope you would enjoy what is in store.

THREE ] From here on out until Selas return, please consider Briarseed a drifting presence. You may write her as moving around the scene, but please limit dialogue with her as much as possible. She's a medicine cat, doing medicine cat things right now. Most of her limited actions will be featured within Sykestar's post.

[b]FOUR ] How do we feel about wrapping up the mudslide incident within the next few posts? I have to write skyestar and lemmigpaw and kyanitepaw's responses to which I am sorry for the delay. >x<. Every one here has done such an amazing job keeping on top of all the details that everyone includes in their posts.

FIVE ] Please keep all future patrols limited to about 3-4 cats. We have a clan meeting come up after the mudslide, and the eulogy for the fallen. Shortly after, rumors of the prophecy will spread through the camp leading to confusion and high emotions.

Hi hello! Popping in to post before I leave on my next flight. I will be away until late July and I may not be able to respond on CS or Discord. If you need to reach me, send a message on CS!

rey skywalker will be in charge of the roleplay while I'm gone. She has full authority to approve forms and move the plot along. Thanks for the great update, rey!! I’m down to move on from the mudslide especially since most cats involved are inactive. Right now I only have rey skywalker, Nunavik, Queen of flames, TheClockmaker, and myself as active members. I believe peachpit and wonpil should return in a few weeks.

After the mudslide, Sykestar will give a clan meeting about Milktuft’s death and all the recent tragedies. All the injured cats will be made into npcs and will eventually recover, should their roleplayers return. If I am available then, I will pm everyone with rumors about the prophecy! If not, feel free to make up whatever your character heard.

At this point the medicine den is just five medicine apprentices in a trench coat (Briar included) but I’d still like to have an active apprentice! If you’re interested in med apprentice, please reach out to me as well as rey since I’d love to plot with you!

I’m in the middle of drafting a post for my characters, but if I don’t make it before my flight I have detailed the plans below. I will move my characters and TheClockmaker’s characters out of the way until we return. I've talked with him about what I'm posting below.

Current plans for the characters that will be inactive:

• Assume Briarseed has gone with Sykestar to help with the mudslide rescue. She will be caring for the injured, even after returning from the mudslide. I give everyone full control of her until I return.
• Rumblespout will be standing watch outside the medicine den for the foreseeable future.
• Eeleyes will probably be stuck in an interaction with Pikecrest. rey, feel free to wait or move your character somewhere else.
• Gullsplash and Hopperpaw will still be together in FallsClan territory, heading toward camp. If we get to a timeskip, they can be reprimanded for their rogue provocation during the timeskip. Their actions can be discussed in the clan meeting.
• Swallowsight and Gorgefang will still be helping with the mudslide rescue efforts. They will just stay with the patrol in the background.
• Snakepaw and Mantispaw are cleaning the elder’s den together. Since oceanz has also become inactive, we can keep these characters in the background for the time being.

hello again! from a more slightly unhinged peach haha!

i moved into my new apartment, we’ve finally started up some wifi and have a guy over installing it today! i will finally be able to work on something, again thank you everyone for the patience xoxoxo

moving in was very very hectic but i feel more settled now and in the headspace to write!!

edit:: hurricane beryl wiped us out of the apartment 😭😭 again we have no wifi or power and we just got a bit of service driving around! IM SO SORRY GUYS!!!! trying my best!!!! crashing at a hotel currently with our 5 fosters and 2 pets for some much needed AC!

I am going to just pop in and say, whoa, I am so sorry. I hadn’t intended on such a long absence. It’s been weird trying to find a new normal in the last few months. I rightly understand my characters have been set aside. I am in a place I would like to continue with this rp. I missed you guys <3

Just let me know if I should pick up my characters from before, or need to make a new one, if you’ll have me back anyway lol

Congrats on moving in! I'm so sorry about the hurricane, that sounds absolutely awful. It's just one thing after another. I don't know how you manage to deal with so much. I'm glad your fosters and pets are ok. Just focus on staying safe!!

working on all of my owed posts now.

kyanitepaw is finished. working on sykestar and all my other characters. for the sake of moving things along, i'm probably go shorter on sykestar to save everyone the trouble. after she loses her life in the mud and pulls stormpaw out, we can all just move the posts to the campsite, no need for worrying about writing 2 posts just moving back to camp.
