Appearance;
Height; 5'9

Clothing; A faded yellow trenchcoat and a brown fedora. Carries around a pack of cigarettes and uses them despite not being effected by it or capable of breathing. This is a habit left behind by pre-War Nick’s memories.
Extra; Nick Valentine is falling apart. He was never designed to last, and with the cruelty of the Commonwealth’s citizens and the lack of parts or mechanical knowledge he has taken quite a beating. His right arm lost all of its synthetic skin, his neck is hanging on by a thread, and the left side of his face is open to the air. On top of all this he is slowly losing memories—his own memories, not the pre-War Nick’s, because his internal database can only hold around one hundred years of memories. Nick has no external storage to back up his oldest memories, so they are slowly being overwritten by newer ones without his knowledge.
Weapon; A pipe revolver pistol, a post-War handgun that fires .45 rounds.
Personality; Nick Valentine is a man struggling between memories of the long-dead human detective uploaded onto his brain and his own, newer memories. He struggles with his identity, forming his own personality, and connecting to his body and surroundings. Despite his psychological turmoils, Nick Valentine does his utmost to be as kind and selfless as possible to everyone, even those with a long history of evil. Nick dislikes murder, even in the post-apocalyptic wasteland where the law is usually in favor of executions. This puts him at odds and in a strange sense of comradery with others on both sides of the law.
Nick has a dry and sarcastic wit reminiscent of black and white movie detectives. Despite this, he is also well-learned, quoting Shakespeare, Poe, and Bhagavad Gita at various points.
crush; None
other; Nick does not need to eat, drink, breathe, or sleep. He is basically immune to radiation (it does have an effect, but it would take a really long time to harm him) but electricity can cause shorts in his systems similar to a seizure in humans. He needs to run diagnostics every once in a while and perform basic maintenance.
