A long time ago; within the time of no medical information; there were two siblings. One was named Shisui, the other Nyx. The two siblings were without a mother, father, or loving home. One was born with no eyes, and that was Nyx. Nyx was a sweet soul at the time; who cared for everything moved. She was so genial, and her brother was in pain. Shisui pitied his younger sister, he had the eyes that she deserved.

One night, Nyx went off on her own. She walked blindly to the edge of a cliff. Not knowing where she was; all of her familiar smells gone, she put one paw in front of her, feeling nothing. Her mind made an image witch she will never forget. It was her, surrounded by nothing; as reality hit her. She was blind, there was no escape from this breaking darkness. She broke down on the edge, and was close to taking a small leap from the edge. From no where, she sensed the bushes behind her rustle, and her brother lept out, taking her to the ground away from the edge.

She screamed; and she fought. Once Shisui managed to pin her, and keep her from stopping, she quickly stopped struggling. "Nyx. Why?" was the only thing he said, tears falling from his face. "The darkness is just everlasting. Growing and creating fear." She muttered silently. Shisui then knew what he had to do. He knocked his younger sister out, wincing when a small bruise formed on her head.

When Nyx awoke, she blinked. Wait. She Blinked? Nyx gasped, and looked at the beauty of the sky. The stars and the moon, the grass and the trees. She absorbed the beautiful moonlight, and looked at the beautiful midnight blue sky. She heard the bushes rustle, and quickly turned. There was a scent that she knew. It was Shisui. She looked at him; and saw his eyes closed, and he was walking around with a stick in his mouth. "Shisui, why has the darkness disappeared from my mind?" Shisui just gave a smile, and walked to the trees.

"On the cliff, I gave you my eyes. I hope it has taken the darkness away, and that they will erase the fear that has grown into you." Shisui said happily. Nyx, who was crying at the wonderful gift her brother had given her. She took her only remnant they had of their mother, a pure white blanket, and wrapped it around his eyes.
