@froggie - don't beat yourself up about it! we've all made our fair share of mistakes in the past.
if it really bothers you though i'm sure you could just change him to be a normal cat. but you don't have to either!

i'm already changing something minor on cloudgaze. changing her to have point markings instead of bicolor markings. it's not a very big change and shouldn't effect any of her kittens but i find point markings much easier to work with in a genetics sense.

Right now he's a lighter brown tabby - would it still be possible for him to be a light brown tabby? :0 Just because I like his markings

i would think it would be okay. i assumed that you would just be changing his ears to not make him a scottish fold, if that is what you don't like about him. you don't gotta change his coloration if ya don't want to!

...but, are you asking if his coloration is possible with his parents? if so then the answer is no.
if emberdream was a light brown tabby and we said one of foxsnap's parents was light brown then it would be possible.
or if emberdream's parents weren't cats in the rp and we said one of those were light brown (and the other was ginger) this coat would be possible.
but as it stands right now i'm fairly certain that he should, realistically, be just a solid black cat.

but that doesn't matter!! these were cats that we made a long time ago before we all knew better so I don't feel like there is a need to try and make all the past kittens correct. lots of cats would need some pretty major adjusting if we tried doing that ;~;

no clue. i only know who was all in foxsnap and emberdream's litter because emberdream is related to cloudgaze (through adoption) and i have her whole family tree written down. so i don't forget all her kin

and i might make her mate half serval or something? since he's a kittypet, he'll be fancy schmancy and stuff
