Mm, true. I didn't know if we were counting everyone related to Cloudgaze/Thrushleap, but I think they would be distant enough.

I don't know for sure, but I think that may be a super purebred cat..? The coloring just looks really unique and the watermark makes it look like it's from some bengal breeding thing. I don't remember his backstory so if being purebred fits I wouldn't have problems with it, that is, if this is a purebred cat.
Tldr: I'm completely saying this because that looks kinda purebred and I know nothing about cat genetics and basically nothing about breeds.

You do have a point and XD Jaguarheart is clan born he was Leopard's and Owl's son along with Emberdream. While Breezeshade is Owl's and Stone's kit.

if we were to use correct genentics, jaguarheart should actually be a black cat.

however, since we weren't exactly being genetically correct back then,
i think sunsmoke could get away with calling him half bengal (and therefore using a bengal image) if we are going to say leopardstripe (jaguar's father) was a bengal. because a bengal's spots are dominant.
the only incorrect thing about him would be that he should have gotten owlflight's grey coloration (but without dilution since leopardstripe wasn't dilute. which would make him black) but like i said we could ignore that part

I just changed the picture for Jaguarheart. So he is just a dark colored spotted tabby.

no, wait. both jaguarheart and emberdream should be grey with black spots. i forgot that brown also comes from a dilute modifier (i believe) which would make the kits dilute as well.

breezeshade, who's father was stonestar instead of leopardstripe, should be a grey cat and spots as well. possibly with low to medium grade white spotting but possibly without it

basically the whole leopardstripe vs stonestar fight over breezeshade while she was a kit probably shouldn't have happened because breezeshade should have looked almost exactly like leopardstripe's biological kits anyways lol.
there would have been pretty much no way to tell that they were stonestar's unless the cats really decided to think that breezeshade's white spotting must have come from stonestar (and that's only if she even had white spotting)

(you do not have to change their coloring to match this, don't worry! i have plenty of genetically incorrect cats myself (laurel and lightheart make absolutely no sense) and i'm probably not changing them. i just like...rambling i guess. and figuring out genetics. sorry)

XD if only we knew this before. XD But then a lot of the kits now wouldn't have been born. Stripestar most likely would still have a life left and still being in love with Cloudgaze XD but oh well. Lol

i only know the basics, really! and i still get things wrong a lot of the time (such as right now when i first assumed emberdream and jaguarheart should be solid black rather than grey)

but i do really love cat genetics. it's fun, for me anyways, to figure out what the correct outcomes for kittens of cats would be c:
so if you guys ever need help with kittens, please just ask!

(i also have links i could give if you guys really do want to start learning about this stuff for yourself. but you should probably pm me if you want 'em since i don't want to clog up the thread anymore then i already am)
