Image/Description: Medium-long white fur that fluffy up around her chest. She had a fluffy tail and skinnier legs and paws. Her face is short-haired. She has long aws, sharp teeth, and she is skinny. Crystal blue eyes.
Name: Frostclaw
Gender: She-cat
Clan: MapleClan
Rank: Warrior; She was barely able to become a warrior because of her lack of sight, but she trained exceptionally hard and her senses became very acute.
Personality/Skills: Frostclaw can be a little timid when cats talk to her, but once she warms up She is very friendly and nice. She is not very skilled at hunting, but she can fight very well. A secret of hers; As an apprentice, Starclan warriors trained her to help her become a warrior. She worked so hard and they felt she would make a good warrior.
Important Notes: Blind.

Name Reasoning: She fits her name like a sock on a cat's head*. It's a very nice name, too (if I may preen over it a little).

Character Reasoning: You've handled her blindness pretty well, but I'm sticking up the Blue Eyes White Warrior Rule: white cats with blue eyes tend to be deaf. I think that, if you stretch it (making her fur a very pale grey), then she could be saved by that. I'm not sure how much a StarClan cat could teach fighting to a live apprentice, but I am confident that a good medicine cat, coupled with advice from the ancestors, could teach her how to use her claws well. It will be significantly difficult for her, of course, but don't let that stop her.

Important Notes: when she was younger, the dark forest used her to kill a cat in her sleep, but she escaped their claws soon after. When she was still in the dark forest, a queen said horrible things about her mother and how she only had one eye, so she attacked the queen, and cut her throat, so she couldn't talk, and scrated over her eye so she only had one, when no one was waching

Important Notes: He is not very good at fighting, but is an amazing hunter. When he was doing his warrior test, he caught 15 Pieces of prey! He had a mate, but she died giving birth, and only one kit survived, the kit was called echokit, and became the leader of shadowclan. (Thats another story for another time)

Personality/Skills: Skilled at hunting, tracking, climbing trees, etc. She isn't good at fighting as she often forms friendships with cats from other clans, and is quick to flee from confrontation- hence the name 'Swiftheart'.
Important Notes: Not really important, but she's my first official RP character.

Feather-/-feather: As a descriptor, it's useless. Feathers can be any color, shape, or size, and even if they were to suggest a personality type like "soft and gentle", it would still fail due to feathers coming in many varieties besides downy.

Basically, this name would tell me nothing about the cat. The prefix is supposed to describe the cat's appearance, so it would be really difficult to figure out what this cat looks like.
I don't think she has any particular skills or traits that stand out, suffix-wise, so we'll just go with the defaults.
Alternative Name: Lilyfur/Hollyfur. Lily- and Holly- describe a white cat, or majority white, and you can use either -fur or -pelt as her suffix (-pelt is usually seen as short fur, and -fur is long).

Character Rating: 6/10
Character Reasoning: Her personality is fine, but the Dark Forest stuff is...odd. I've never liked the concept of the Dark Forest cats actually interacting with the living and teaching them to be "evil", because it's so cliche and usually poorly executed. Plus, that whole mauling another cat? Not only is that particularly gruesome (and pointless, that cat's already dead), but it seems out-of-character for this cat. She's an energetic, bold cat (and I assume friendly), not a cruel one. I'd say get rid of those two things, because they have no point really being here.
Side note: if a cat only has one eye and continues to function in the warrior world, that's not mock-worthy, that's genuinely impressive. We all saw how well Brightheart got along, and she was highly admired.

Ah, I was wondering when someone would ask about that.

The thing with the books is that over time, the names made less and less sense (Jumpfoot, Feathertail, Silverflame) with little to no thought about whether or not they actually worked, and some fans were pretty upset about it. So to combat canon's lack of a system, they created their own. In canon, you'll get a white cat named Blackfoot, because, apparently, he has black feet, but in traditionalism, he would be renamed Whitefur or Whitefoot, if he was particularly fast on his toes.

Traditionalism sort of ignores some aspects of canon, because at the time there was no actual system that the Hunters used. I doubt they even know what traditionalism is. They just kind of...randomly pick a name and then slap it on the cat.

As for Holly- specifically, the white refers to the flowers on the plant, rather than the plant itself.

I wouldn't think so! It may be unusual for the Clan itself, but I don't think it's specifically worthy of a name if it doesn't get in their way (manxes do get along just fine without them). Renames like Notail would be if the body part was removed violently and affects the cat for life.

Thank you! I was just wondering since I find making warrior cat out of those kind of breeds interesting. c: I have a few you might see.

Description: A short tom with brown tabby fur and no tail.
Name: Larkcloud or maybe Larkheart?
Gender: Male/Tom
Clan: -Undecided-
Rank: Medicine Cat

Personality: A tom that is considerate and patient. He does try to have a logical approach to everything, and sometimes doubts others for their actions. He is often seen silent, but does speak his opinion if he feels is won't offend anyone. Larkcloud is also quite interested in others, which may make him seem nosy. This short cat also occasionally takes things the wrong way and insults to heart.
Skills: Debating, [If that's a skill. |D] Interpertating and Memorizing things.

Important Notes: I was trying to find a more brownish tabby, but I think the one on the right fights the prefix Lark.
