▬|Personality: Kind and a bit on the shy side, Thistledown doesn’t stand out much in a crowd. He likes to listen to what’s going on around him but rarely joins in for fear of stepping on someone else’s tail or making a fool of himself. He is entirely average at hunting and fighting though he only does either out of a sense of duty, he hates the idea of hurting anyone and even feels bad about killing prey. Thistledown is extremely empathetic, often to the point that it causes his emotions to mirror those around him to almost distressing degrees. Still, if he sees a clan mate that’s sad or having a ruff day he can’t help but try and cheer them up either with a kind word or a little gift in their nest. He loves nothing more then to see others smile. While he is a bit antisocial, Thistledown is prone to pining after clan mates he looks up to rather then just going and talking to them.
▬|Backround: Nothing special, he was born in the clan and has managed to stay a outwardly completely average background character his whole life. He’s kind of that nice guy that everyone knows but doesn’t seem to have any close friends.

▬|Description: A large white fluffy cat with green eyes and a flat broad muzzle. She has a naturally big build and is chunky compared to most of her clan mates.

▬|Personality: Swanpaw is full of sass, ambition, creativity and bad ideas that will probably get her in trouble. She is fearless, with a wild sense of adventure she is always off doing something new. She loves exploring and longs to see what’s beyond their territory. A bored Swanpaw is a dangerous Swanpaw and she’ll often get in trouble and break the rules just because she couldn’t think of anything more interesting to do. She is always sneaking over to Dawnclan territory and it’s a wonder she hasn’t sparked a border dispute or gotten herself killed. Somehow, not matter the situation, she always seems to land on her feet. A lucky streak that has probably only served to increase her sense of invulnerability. Still, she’s very charismatic and it’s hard not to find this plucky young cat to be likable.
▬|Backround: Swanpaw was born in the clan though her dad died before she was born. She was primarily raised by her mom with a lot of help from the other queens in the nursery, she was a handful! Now that she’s an apprentice her taste for mischief and rule breaking has only grown.

She radiates the warmth of an open flame,
her old eyes soft with patience, holding a
spark of wisdom that's slowly kindled over
the moons she's spent tending to the clan.
But like any fire, she can burn too hot; fixed
in her ways, stubborn to change and
passionate about tradition and law.

At one time she may have been considered
formidable; a towering figure who could
command respect with a pointed look. Though
now her shoulders hunch under the weight of
responsibility, loss and her steadily aging body.
In her later years, she's grown forgetful. Often
mistaking kits for others born long before them,
or warriors for their parents passed.

Still, she is perceptive; noticing the smallest
shifts in mood. She can sense an upset tummy
or a broken heart with startling precision.
Enough to make her joke that StarClans blessed her
with a sixth sense. But it is a talent born from how
closely she watches and how deeply she cares.

She speaks with a sad lull to her words, but
with a deep sense of faith and optimism for
StarClan. A storyteller, who reaches for
anecdotes and fables to strengthen and
inspire those who pass through her medicine den.

The path of a medicine cat was always set for her. Through loss, mistakes and triumphs, she was held steady by her belief that StarClan would always show her the way. Of course there were times in her youth when she felt swept up in romance, coy glances and flushed ears. But the work was relentless and demanding. Her mentor passed soon after she earned her suffix and all thoughts of flighty romance left her mind. Instead she busied herself trying to find someone to share the burden of her duties.

Haykit was a sickly little thing, a tiny sandy coloured tom who stayed in the nursery two moons passed his littermates. She saw in him someone who longed for a chance to prove themselves, and thought she could be that chance. But at 16 moons, freshly named and still adjusting to her responsibilities, she was ill equip to handle the training of a young apprentice on top of it. She was demanding, impatient and slowly the young tom's spirit waned. He lost the desire to prove himself, that spark of interest in herbs and healing. He shook from the stress of it. The guilt she felt was crushing, to see such a small thing crumbling under the weight of her high expectations. Perhaps he wasn't cut out to be a medicine cat apprentice, but she wasn't fit to be his mentor either. It was with a heavy heart she told him that StarClan had other plans. But she did feel a swell of pride as she watched him grow to a warrior. A pride she still held on to even after he passed from the wounds of battle. But somewhere in her heart she wondered what could have been, if she'd only been ready to teach him. Stubborn and superstitious, she allowed seasons to pass without taking another apprentice, affirming that the stars would let her know when the time was right. But partially due to the fear of failing another hopeful soul, the timing never seemed to be right. Eventually she grew old, her paws heavy and her thoughts scattering in ways that scared her. She had no choice, she had to train up an apprentice before the last of her wits left her. But with her memories murky she can only hope it's not too late to pass on what she knows.

Mostly dead-pan by nature, he can come
across as stoic and a tad bit intimidating. His
limited expressions vary from disapproving
to skeptical, and his even voice makes it
quite difficult to discern when he's joking.
Cold and factual, most of what he says
seems apathetic and he expects no less in
return; though, he struggles to understand
why others would be more sensitive. Despite
his rather proud appearance, he's obedient,
willing to do what's asked of him; dedicated
to the law of the clan.

Taking whatever's said at face value, it would
be fair to say most metaphors go straight
past him. Admittedly there are times when
his cynical expression warms up some,
though it's always fleeting. He does get
nervous in new situations, not that it shows
very well on his face.

He has a rather nasty scar, from the
recent battle with dawnclan. It's a
large area of bald skin, stretching
from his left eye to the lower part of
his jaw.

Whitewillow was of dubious parentage, an only kit who's stark white pelt sent rumours breezing through camp. His mother was a sleek pelted brown cat, with strong shoulders and striking eyes. When her belly had rounded with kits, she'd kept her lips tight shut about their origins. Perhaps in some part due to her enjoyment of the scandal of it, or perhaps she thought it was her own business and no other cat ought to know. Regardless, cats were at a loss when she gave birth to a lanky, near translucent scrap of fur. He bore little resemblance to his mother, or any eligible bachelors in the clan for that matter. But in the aftermath of a fierce clash between neighbouring clans, amidst the death and shame, the birth of any kit -even a ghostly, saucer-eyed little thing- had been a welcome one.


Though he grew into his wide, staring eyes, there always seemed to be something uncanny about his gaze. His face an unreadable, barely blinking mask. He struggled to connect with other apprentices, prioritising monotonous tasks over friendly company. Never asked questions, never needed answers, just did as he was told. From the day he was born a large part of him was dedicated to proving he belonged in LightClan; proving that he could hunt despite his stark fur, proving he had pure warrior linage. The never ending struggle to prove his worth was a lonely one, at least until he heard whispers and hushed exchanges about Darktail. Her birth, wrapped in more scandal that his own mother could dream of, and her isolation keeping her perpetually on edge, never allowed to slip up, make a mistake. He had to prove his worth to himself, she had to prove it to the whole clan. He knew then they were kindred spirits, though he didn't have the words to share such a sentiment with her. Instead he watched her from afar with a detached interest, with the same blank mask he always wore. Waiting for the day he could form the words 'you have nothing left to prove'.

The day never came. Instead was a storm of violence, the coldblooded murder of Mousefang and a battle to avenge the killing. A battle that cost more innocent lives. As he sat vigil, he turned his gaze to StarClan, willing them to give his clan the strength to avenge those who'd fallen. He closed his eyes against the night, conjuring the image of Darktail's face - her fur bristling as she yowled about the attack from Dawnclan's patrol. When he opened his eyes again, his gaze was hardened. Their deaths would not be in vain. By StarClan's will, they would suffer for what they'd taken.

Now that I have all my characters (Sunstar, Thistledown, Swanpaw) up does anyone want to work out a relationship with them? (Just a warning if anyone gets close to my oc’s I may drawn fan art of them >:3c)
They’re all open for friends, family, enemy’s, crushes, etc
I would particularly love some long time friends for Sunstar and a rival for Swanpaw if anyone would be interested!

@Keesa: I feel like Amberpaw and Swanpaw could be frenemies/rivals, Amberpaw wouldn't be on board with Swanpaw's flippant attitude and excursions into Dawnclan territory. Amberpaw is kind of a goodie-two-paws so Swanpaw's disregard for the rules would rub her the wrong way.

Also, I have another character I was contemplating bringing in that could be a good friend for Sunstar, he is a little older than her but he may have been her "second mentor" and they've stayed friends this whole time. Bumblefoot

@Queen of flames: Could Amberpaw be friends with Pepperpaw and Nectarpaw? She would have played with them in the nursery and been upset that they became apprentices first, but when she was given her apprentice name she would have been excited to be training with them and sharing a den. When their father died and again when their mother left she would have been sympathetic and trying to get them to feel better by joking or asking them to go hunting with her. Also, can Foxstrike have a crush on Olivefluff? It would just be a "puppy love" type thing at this point but it could develop into something more, especially if Olivefluff comes out at some point

Sorry forget to answer this but sure they can be friends. Olivefluff may have a crush on Foxstrike as well, but likely could not admit it out loud, at the first anyway.

Appearance: Tiny yellow and white tabby with red orange(Dark ginger) stripes with bright pink nose and bright green eyes.
Personality: Lively, cheerful, kind, friendly, tough, sympathetic and understanding.
History: Was born a runt into a harsh environment and a toxic clan who wiped themselves out, leaving Zinnia all alone. Found by a Dawnclan patrol and brought to the med.cat, who found that the poor kit had a nasty cold. She survived despite all odds and has bloomed despite her tough beginning.
