at first glance, noa may carry himself
with a regal and gentlemanly disposition,
though upon further inspection, it’s more
of a ruse, and he could just as easily be
described as mischievous and jolly. noa is
the epitome of a social butterfly, making
friends comes as naturally as breathing to
him and he seldom lets an opportunity for
fun pass him by. he looks to the future
with optimism and tends to always carry
himself in a calm, carefree manner to
keep people at ease. well-mannered and
confident, noa holds his head high and
takes great pride in his appearance and
large online following he has garnered
over the years. not a day goes by that he
doesn’t post a photo or two.

𝐅𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐆

noa is particularly playful around his
friends, taking quite an enjoyment out of
teasing them, and keeping the overall
atmosphere jovial and light. nevertheless,
he isn’t exactly the type to back down
from a conflict either, be it verbal or
physical. prone to witty retorts, or even
throwing a punch if that’s what it takes
to put someone in their place. above all
else he tends to prefer to use his “kill
them with kindness” method, playing
innocent and painting those who oppose
him in a negative light. albeit with the
occasional insults sprinkled in behind that
pleasant facade. he may appear vain,
though it’s more so a byproduct of
insecurities birthed from being a failed
model, and secretly holds a lot of jealousy
and bitterness for those who surpass him.

born into a family both famed and affluent to sakura beach, noa was
handed most things on a silver platter at a young age, his life more
or less planned out for him by the age of 15, a valedictorian of his
class and modeling career on the rise, he found out the hard way
that being at the top was a lonely and ultimately unhealthy road.
all the spotlight and expectations inevitably causing him to crash
and burn, the weight of his families standards too much to bare.

after his modeling career went down the drain, noa returned to his
hometown, ultimately deciding to move back into his parents estate.
soon thereafter, taking on a job of a lifeguard and swimming instructor
at the local resort, reconnecting with old friends and the hobby of
surfing to pass the time. not that it was meant to last, as the curse
ensured him to steer clear of water from then on, or else face the
risk of transforming into a bottlenose dolphin. despite it all, he
admittedly finds something quite freeing about his cursed form, never
has he been able to swim so swiftly and unhindered, finding the curse
a good method to escaping his troubles and embracing his free-spirited
nature.

that’s where the pros of the curse end, as the curse has long since
caused him to distance himself from most of his friends, and prevented
him from being as open with his followers. indeed, he has yet to fully
recover from his stupor, both in his failed career path and his new
affliction. though he maintains a composed facade, a bitterness festers
underneath, seeing those around him excel while he remains in the
same spot, he can’t help but regret rejecting the mermaid.

hey there, apologies for my absence. i’m definitely still game to keep this thing going. i’d be happy to create a discord as well for those who are still interested, since i know communication is a little easier and it could help keep the roleplay flowing.

additionally, i think i am going to go ahead and start sending pms to those who seem to have gone MIA, and reopen their slots accordingly. i would love to keep this roleplay alive if i can.

regardless, i’ll go ahead and get my replies up soon so we can keep the ball rolling.

i’m almost finished writing hinata‘s response, and i’m just now starting on noa’s, so i should have them up fairly soon. i’m a little busy these next couple of days, but i’ll be reaching out to those who haven’t posted yet when i can.
