s succumbed to it, leaving ro on his own in the big wide universe. eventually, the virus fel
l into obscurity, mutating into a mere vomiting bug - it killed too quickly to efficiently spr
ead, they said, though it was efficient enough in culling half of ro's home continent. in wa
ke of the tragedy, he ran. travelled the solar systems in search of an identity that was not
tied to a boy who was dead and gone, and has not returned to his home planet ever since.
