Nightflame is a cat who's bitter, unstable, and aggressive. He is seemingly always at least agitated, but he has a soft spot for cats who show kindness to him.
He was known as Half-fire in his former clan. He was always an grumpy and unstable cat, however this mainly stemmed from the uncertainty of his identity. One day the medicine cats got a prophecy relating to a forest fire destroying camp in pitch black night, seemingly pointing to Half-fire. Half-fire never heard about this, but all of the other cats did. One night the deputy of his clan accused him of killing another cat, when in fact that cat had been killed by a rogue. The deputy threatened Half-fire, and he killed the deputy, causing him to be exiled. He then became a rogue, and while he was a rogue he finally came to terms with his identity, but he was still angry and unstable from what happened. He then joined Thornclan and adopted the name Nightflame.
