Announcements

The roleplay will begin some time after Christmas. A poll has been added for the exact starting date. We are democratic rebels and not tyrants like the Delran Emperor!
In the event of a tie, I will select the second-soonest option from the tied winning results.

Voting ends in 24 hours. Then, we will have decided when the roleplay officially begins.
After voting ends, there will be a 12-hour grace period in which new characters can still be created. When this grace period is over, I will fill the remaining character spots myself.

medic ▪ cujo has the ability to be incredibly aware of someone's current health situation. their pulse, their oxygen levels, the state of things, the pain they're feeling. he's like a walking talking emergency room, or even ambulance. he can occasionally even feel what the person being examined is feeling if he's within a small radius, which usually helps him fix others rather quickly. he has slight regenerative abilities which he can use on himself or others, but only once he's identified what the problem is. although a useful power support-wise, it has no offensive ability other than giving him some information on possible weaknesses

he stands at 5'10", with skin that's a little less tan than what would be considered 'tan'. an array of freckles lightly dust his cheeks and the bridge of his nose. his dark brown hair is rather messy and ends mid-neck. his eyes are brown with slight rusty flecks in them. his build is rather healthy looking, broad shoulders and a good posture.

this rather tired aspiring nurse has a relatively poor outlook on his current situation since he isn't particularly fond of the troubles that occasionally come with his ability. this doesn't hinder his occasional optimistic moment though where he shares some smiles and attempts to lighten the situation. he's rather ready to help and is rather formal and happy. it's almost like when your doctor never stops using that welcoming tone from when you first walk in. cujo is rather uncaring with small problems (which he considers to be a lot of problems), looking at the big picture is what he's all about. this germaphobic loser would much rather spend his time with someone examining them than forming actual bonds.

emma, nicknamed em by her close friends, is an 18 year
old member of the phoenix squad. her power is to shift
into any animal, insect or fish under the sun, but with a
slight toll on her energy- the bigger the animal is, the
more exhausted she is when she shifts out of it. however,
she can turn into smaller beasts reasonably well and
often does so to amuse the others. when an animal,
she is unable to speak to, or understand, normal humans,
and hears their voices as just faintly recognisable noise.
however, she can communicate easily enough with the
animal that she turned herself into.

emma hates water and will only tolerate it when shifted
into an animal that can swim. she's pretty lazy and likes
to eat.

emma is humorous and has a loud, rather annoying laugh
that she uses all the time; she is rather infamous for
giggling in inappropriate situations. she is friendly and
trusting, but if you break that trust you may end up
with a punch on the nose. she's always getting into
mischief or fights, often using her shapeshifting abilities
to frighten the life out of people.
