"could you be more complicated?" is a statement
frondface has heard since kithood. his mother, starclan bless her,
had the most trouble with this little tom. it was no cat's fault he
turned out to be such a jerk; some cats are just destined to be
nuisances. in the case of little frondkit, that could not be more
true. he grew as a single kit, slightly spoiled by his mother's
constant attention. he was a difficult apprentice, and got held back
two moons in order to mature and learn to act like a true warrior.
but he does not hold the leader responsible. he was flippant,
and has at least tried to better himself since. now, he is a bit
more bearable to be around, but not the best at making
friends. his need for perfection outweighs any decision he makes.
in an attempt to make sense of the world, frondface has picked
up how to notice the tiny details about every day life, and uses
these elements to his advantage. he makes a formidable enemy
to fight due to his size, but also his sharp observing skills. once his
mind is set to do something, only the most persuasive of points can
make him back down. he is not hot-headed, per say, but he would
rather defend himself than let any scathing comment slide. in this
way, cats with strong personalities usually collide with his.

every kit is fed and nursed with the dreams of the achieving role that is leadership,
to be crowned with the title of star, to be sworn protector of the clan and blessed by
starclan. it is not an uncommon desire to be found. however, the fierce want mothfire
harbors within is another tale. with ridgestar’s selection of fourteen to be sent away,
mothfire was among the few who volunteered, eagerly so.

her record was largely untarnished, a good and true member of juniperclan, and a
departure was, well, simply delusional and most notably, selfish. mothfire severed the
red cords that held her to juniperclan: friends, family, an apprentice, and dear
honeyheart. she’d always held dear that her and honeyheart would stand the testimony
against time, but for an opportunity on such a magnitude, sacrifices were bound to be
made sooner or later.

to spare her and seapaw any ache, mothfire left without any mention of her leaving. to
utter a word would only wedge a bigger thorn in their hearts.

for now, cheery, hopeful mothfire strives to be the backbone of the troublesome group
of fourteen. she takes any chance to take initiative, to guide. her sweet nature is paired
with her stark bluntness and collectivist philosophy, always willing to put the needs of
the group or clan lengths ahead of any individual whether friend or foe, a streak of
blatant insensitivity and indifference. her ideologies are rather cemented and often
leads to blind faith and an inability to heed advice not extensions of her own thoughts.

nevertheless mothfire wields a untainted passion and belief in her role as the guileless
leader to first and foremost guide and lift the group on her shoulders
