Well there are two types of werewolves: Lupine and Lupus.
Considering his backstory he wasn't always a part of the pack, that could explain his Lupine form instead of the packs Lupus?

If you can't tell.. I know too much about werewolves.

lupus and lupine... ? from what book or series are those types of werewolves based?
i'd call it a crinos form versus the rest of the pack's normal wolf lupus form, but that's based on world of darkness.

I kind of like being right haha.
That and I just get compulsive urges to triple check everything and do research into certain things.
Which is also why there isn't a starter for Faye because I just didn't like anything I wrote for her.

huh. i kinda read a lot about werewolves as well, but usually most things stick to either the wolf-man form or the wolf form, and i certainly never heard of them being called 'lupine and lupus' respectively. do you happen to have some sources for that research? id love to read more about it.

I don't believe I have any links to any of the articles I read, after all, I did do this research probably about a year or so ago? But if I suddenly get more compulsive urges to do more research then I'd love to share it with you! I'm definitely going to have to look into your stuff as well it sounds super interesting, I'm not sure if I've read through it already and simply disregarded it or if I haven't read it at all! I do love reading up about werewolves, they're my favourite supernatural afterall.

well, crinos from world of darkness is specifically for a tabletop rpg called werewolf: the apocalypse. it has a sort of cosmology about werewolves specific to it, so it's not mainstream and i wouldn't call it correct for werewolves in general, but it has wolf-man and normal wolf (along with horse-sized wolf and a larger human) in the same scenario, which is why i mentioned it. anyways, keep me posted if you do decide to look into that.
