Backround
Personality: Maddie is your typical Hufflepuff as far as loyalty goes. She wouldn't dare to think of betraying a friend, even if that friend wasn't super close. She is outgoing to say the least and she loves to make friends with the younger students. She also tries her hardest to include most, if not everyone, in whatever she is doing. She is reliable and can be trusted to do pretty much anything that is asked of her (except for sitting quietly through History of Magic or some other boring class). She pretty much has no ambition at all, so she doesn't do too well in her classes. Maddie is quite predictable and almost always acts in the same way every time a situation comes up, which doesn't do her too much good in duels where she always uses the exact same spells. Being guileless can sometimes be considered a good thing, and in her case it mostly is. She doesn't understand a lot that goes on in the real world, but this trait gives her aura an innocent glow. Maddie is the most indecisive person you'll meet most likely. She needs very specific instructions to feel comfortable doing something and she hates improvising. If she is given a choice, she will end up speaking the pros and cons out loud in the hopes that one would stick out as the better option, but that may take longer than one has time for. Maddie is fairly submissive and prefers to back out of a fight as soon as it starts to avoid too much drama. This is bad though because she is seen as a weak witch with no backbone. She is very impatient. She hates sitting through long and boring classes such as History of Magic, and she mostly tends to drift off to her own world in the hopes of moving time along.

History: She was born to a witch and wizard in a small wizarding community out in the middle of nowhere. As such, she lived
a very sheltered life. She has only met one or two muggles in her lifetime, and those encounters were when she was little and her parents had had to go into a larger community to buy some supplies when they were just starting out. Her family isn't very rich, but she doesn't care as she still has her family and friends to love. With no siblings, she was practically forced to make friends with the other children living nearby.
When she received her acceptance letter to Hogwarts, she was very excited. She had been saving up what little money she could to be able to buy supplies to go to the wizarding school, and her parents gladly payed the rest. She has gone to Hogwarts every year, sometimes only barely passing her exams.
What qualifies you to be a Prefect?: "Well, I like to believe that I am very reliable. I do my best to complete the tasks given to me. I am also very friendly, and I feel like it would make the other students feel safer to have a someone they could talk to in certain situations that wasn't an adult."

Backround
Personality: Callum typically goes about his day in silence as he prefers not to talk to others. If it is necessary to speak, he tries to be polite and respectful of other people's opinions. Even though he feels as if his own ideas are logically sound, he is tolerant of other ideas and will at least try and use them if necessary. He is fairly impassive and his feelings only show on rare occasions. Especially on those rare occasions, he tends to hide so no one really knows about it anyways. He is almost overly cautious about what he does and who he runs into, making him constantly paranoid about certain things. However, his cautiousness has gotten him out of trouble a few times, so it isn't all that bad. He doesn't show much creativity, preferring to go by what he has learned in books or from other reliable sources. He tends to obsess over minor details on whatever duty he is performing, as well as his cat.

History: Born in London to a muggle and a wizard, Callum grew up with a foot in each world. He had more muggle friends than magical, but he made sure to hide his own special abilities. His father died from a car crash when Callum was just about to turn ten, and that is what caused him to withdraw a little bit from society. When he received his acceptance letter to Hogwarts, he agreed to go in the hopes that he would find something to remember his father by. He doesn't have many plans for the future at the time, but he hopes that these will form as he grows older.
