Heatherstorm was born Heatherkit to Galeclaw and Tinydawn along with Fishkit, Hailkit, Stormkit and Deerkit. Deerkit and Galekit died of weakness and Fishkit died later of greencough. After Stormkit and Heatherkit got their apprentice names, they joined the apprentices den happily. Heatherpaw was getting closer to a ThistleClan tom named Rabbitdust. Nobody knew until after her warrior ceremony when Stormheart caught her on her nightly trips to meet her love at the border. Her brother threatened to tell the whole Clan about her affair so she killed the only kin she had left. Rabbitdust confronted her about the death and Heatherstorm couldn't believe her ears. All it took was a bite to the throat to stop his nagging.
