annd i have a question for anyone who might know. what would nate's boggart be?
or how would it be represented at least. his greatest fear is drowning or large bodies
of water. obvi he's not scared of just water - he drinks the stuff every day. it's more
like the feeling of not being able to breathe or save himself/someone else. i thought
about having rising water around his feet but i'm not sure boggarts can actually touch
the person they're affecting. i googled it but idk i thought i'd ask and see if anyone
had an idea ^^

we will start sunday evening or monday, after graystar gets back from their trip ^^ i will post the first challenge on the main thread right before i post the starting post for wendy. after it is posted, we can toss around ideas here for specifics about the challenge.

aller: ah, i should have specified this, but the challenge that involves the character's worst fears will not involve boggarts. i know it doesn't make much sense, but boggart = worst fear and it makes more sense to have the former in the character forms since it's the harry potter world .... and i'm not making much sense, am i? eurgh, what i mean to say, the challenge that features everyone's worst fears will not be boggarts. i'm not sure how the wizards who run the tournament would make them come to life, but just roll with me here.

also, to clear another thing up - no one is getting eliminated from the tournament while it is going on, unless they quit. the players are to collect keys to unlock a box that the cup will be in at the end ( even though there are four tasks, there will be more than just four keys ), and if they don't have enough keys they - obviously - can't win. it will not be specified how many keys they need, so it'll be harder to collect them all.
it also does not matter who gets to the box/whatever first, because each team will be presented with it at the end. points matter a lot too. i've figured out how many points will be awarded at each task, depending on the difficulty of said task, teamwork ( though the teams do not know that ), and what place they completed the task in.

did any of that make any sense? no? okay.

wendy thorn //xhennie definitely understands how wendy feels about being ridiculed her
whole life. i feel like the two would get along well, and become good friends throughout the
competition, trying to talk to her more often. i don't know how wendy would feel about this,
but maybe they can be positive/neutral?
charlee ronan //xro is hennie's favorite person to be around. the two are like yin and yang,
always there for each other whenever they need it. because they're so close, they often
find themselves always together, helping each other out whenever they can. she helps him
overcome his shyness with others, and he helps her to logically think through situations. they
always sneak to each other's common rooms, anad find excuses to hang out whenever they can.
even though many cannot see through ro's shyness, hennie knows that he is wonderful.
zephyros faust //xzephyros is someone that hennie would definitely like to get to know better.
she often sees him from afar, but doesn't know how to approach him. he seems so calm and
composed, hennie often gets flustered and doesn't know how to react, because she is so energetic,
and gets embarrassed around him. she definitely wants to get to know him more.
boone gaffin //xhennie finds boone very intriguing, but also quite the challenge. he seems to
be afraid of her, but nia knows that she can use this fact to her advantage. while around him,
she feels a sudden tenseness in the air, and finds herself arguing a lot with his views. most of
the time, nia finds herself avoiding his presence, which comes from a small fear of him.
nathaniel valmont //xhennie has heard quite a lot about nathaniel valmont, especially from ro, and
is always very kind to him. since she belongs to the same house as him, she often finds herself
having a small chat with him, expressing herself broadly. they have known each other for years,
and hennie feels comforted that there is another gryffindor there with her.
eliza blanc //xeliza is someone that hennie often finds herself magnetized to. her optimism
and fierceness reminds nia of herself, and she often tries to start up a small conversation with
the girl, trying to stay on her good side. however, they both silently are very competitive as well,
trying their very best to win the competition. hennie, even still, enjoys eliza's company a lot.
katherine menoth //xi'm not too sure.. any ideas?
deimos robin //xhennie thinks deimos is really a brave soul, but doesn't really commerce with
him. they both are kind towards each other when passing by, but haven't gotten the time to really
speak to each other. they are at a happy neutral, and she respects him for who he is.
freyja halvorsdotter //xhennie is very, very frustrated with the way freyja behaves. she often finds
herself getting angry very quickly when she puts up her selfish and narcissistic barrier, but
doesn't know how to get past it. she tries her very best to be kind to the slytherin, but knows
that she can never truly be able to. i also think that they would clash because of the way she
treats ro, and gets very ruffled and agitated around her. she's so beautiful tho aa <33
noxia torres //xhennie, i think, would absolutely adore noxia. she would probably see her
as an idol of sorts, and always tries to find a way to talk to her whenever she can. hennie thinks
that she is very cool, what with her quidditch wins, but is basically a huge fangirl around her.
maybe they can turn out to be good friends in the future?
aria lucine //xhennie admires aria, and likes to be around her. they both share a very
positive outlook on life, and are kind to each other outside of the tournament. but during it,
they find themselves clashing, which can cause some unsettlement.

her biggest fear/s: getting kidnapped, feeling helpless, mildly claustrophobic

@raven and chiisana; i'm feeling like aria, noxia, and freyja would would make a
dynamic trio if you guys are digging it. c;

ＦＲＥＹＪＡ ＨＡＬＶＯＲＳＤＯＴＴＥＲ

FRIENDS/POSITIVE
- noxia; one of the few that freyja could consistently get along with. despite noxia's quirks, none
of them irk at freyja even at the slightest. she is accepting to her fellow slytherin and is happy to
know someone that shares her love for quiddich. they share a close and healthy friendship.

ENEMIES/NEGATIVE
- wendy; the two are bound to either be good friends or rivals, given that they have similar blood
and father issues. BUT hufflepuffs in general annoy the crap out of freyja. and although wendy's a
pureblood, freyja's never really cared about blood statuses. plus, wendy is a social butterfly... so i
can srsly imagine some epic fist fights between the two.
- charlee [?]; acknowledges his brains, but aside from that, freyja mostly just pities him because
she finds him rather pathetic. for better or worse, she will occasionally try to pull him out of his
studies cause she thinks he needs to socialize more. with charlee's wits, he'd quickly learn to
decode freyja's insults for helpful words of advice. so, possible friendship in the future.
- hennie; just the fact that hennie's flamboyant will probably tick freyja off. she tends to avoid
the gryffindor altogether. she also finds hennie's optimism rather repulsive.
- eliza [?]; she hates every single little aspect of of the girl, mostly because she reminds freyja of
herself in a way, and it secretly scares her. she sees liza as the reminisce of someone who
freyja could have been and who she's tried hard not to be. scratch that, freyja pretty much will
hate any girl who struts around in a beauxbatons uniform because she could have been one
of them if she hadn't gone to durmstrang. also, liza's 'endearing' traits will definitely make
freyja want to roll her eyes.

NEUTRAL
- boone; honestly, freyja thinks he's really weird. she had expected him to be a hufflepuff since
he's a mudblood, but he ended up in slytherin. despite all this, she's interested in getting to
know him more cause he's the closest thing she's got to 'home', and there's really no escaping
him since they live in the same house. they'd most likely be friends in the future.
- nathaniel [?]; from the moment she laid eyes on him, his character immediately screams
gryffindor, and his chivalry makes her want to gag. freyja will definitely want to put (what she
perceives) his self-righteous principles to the test. although she doesn't have any feelings for him,
she finds him mildly good-looking. she tends to look over her shoulder to check his reactions, and
she'd be grinning from ear to ear if she gets him to stray from a goody-two-shoed veneer.
- deimos [?]; despite the fact that he's a hufflepuff, she's mostly intrigued by the rumors that
surround him. and don't even get her started on those mismatched eyes, or his fear of fire (she
finds fire rather comforting because she works with dragons). freyja's a skeptic for the whole
veela-thing, but wouldn't mind getting to know him better if he was more willing to to interact.

TEAMMATE/PARTNER
- noxia; freyja is grateful that she got paired with her fellow slytherin, and delighted that they
are actually friends. they work well together.
