ALEXANDER ROSE
Name: Alexander Rose. He adopted his last name from his half-sister.
Nickname: Alec
Gender: Male
Date of Birth: 1873, currently 17 years old
Species: Dhampir
Languages: British-English with snatches of French
Height and Build: 5'8", slim but with compact muscle.
Hair: Darker brown-blonde at the top, fading to a lighter blonde at the tips. Just above chin-length, slightly wavy, soft
Eyes: Normally a warm hazel, but should he go a month or more without feeding on human blood, they will slowly darken into a dull red.
Sexual Orientation: Demiromantic bisexual
Typical Attire: Middle class fare, somewhat on the frayed side. He tries not to mind how he looks because he does not really have the means to change it. He usually wears a hat should he venture out in the daytime and a black frock coat.
Family:
Mother - Charlotte Rose, deceased, human. Died in childbirth.
Father - unknown, unknown, vampire
Half-Sister - Elizabeth Rose, alive, human. Their relationship is complicated.
Personality and History:
Alexander is stubborn, short-tempered, reckless, and independent - but for all that, he is also overwhelmingly well-meaning. His mother (and Elizabeth's) died when he was born, given who he is, and to this day he believes Elizabeth never forgave him for that. He spent most of his childhood with his half-sister in his wealthy uncle's and aunt's estate, but once he was old enough to work was left to his own devices. Only his close family knows of his identity. They were never as brutal as hunters, but constantly shunned him. As a child he was reputedly shy, but gradually hid his loneliness and anger in a layer of stubbornness as thick as the earth's crust. Though sports came easily to him, he did not get along with others his age (especially after close calls) and was often left in the house whether he wanted to or not. It was not a surprise that he took to books and philosophy. But that simply led him to question his existence - why did someone like him, unable to fit into any world, exist? His was deemed an unnatural race even in the realm of the supernatural. In any case, he had difficulty fitting into society. His stubbornness and aversion to authority, so at least to authority he vehemently disagrees with, has landed him out of a job and he refuses to ask for help from his relatives, as if they would have given him any even if he did. Currently, he works at an orphanage having few means to receive further education, and in return is given board and three meals a day. He doesn't consider himself a malevolent dhampir, but goes to great lengths to control himself. The meals are not enough, and he is hungry - but God save him if he should harm one of the children. In hiding his identity and dealing with strangers (potential threats), he is careful, but with the experience of a child, as naive as someone like him can be, but will surprise you often with hidden ingenuity. Loyal to those he cares for, but he keeps those feelings hidden, always on guard that someone could use them against him.

ELIZABETH ROSE
Name: Elizabeth Rose
Nickname: Lisa, Lizzie
Gender: Female
Date of Birth: 1868, currently 22 years old
Species: Human
Languages: British-English and fluent French
Height and Build: 5'5", slim
Hair:A lovely light golden color. Slightly wavy, long, soft.
Eyes: Caramel brown, her father's eyes.
Sexual Orientation: Demiromantic heterosexual
Typical Attire: Upper middle class fare, dresses and decorative hats. Always will leave looking presentable.
Family:
Mother - Charlotte Rose, deceased, human. Died in childbirth.
Father - James Gideon Rose, deceased, human. Died in an accident.
Half-Brother - Alexander Rose, alive, dhampir. Complicated.
Personality and History:
Elizabeth - call her Lizzie if you dare - is a creature of fashion, smarts, cunning, and a surprising tenderness at times. She was never kind to her half-brother Alec, and did her best to avoid him as a child. She had been extremely close to her parents, and suffered greatly when both passed away only a span of time apart. She sees herself somewhat responsible for her half-brother turning out the way he is. Although Alec would never admit it, he had always tried to please her. Surprising her with gifts, showering her with compliments - all sincere, he was an honest child - all she rejected coldly, a reaction spurred by her fearful uncle and aunt. They wanted nothing to do with a dhampir, nor her mother's "affair" with the creature of the night, and to this day they are the only ones that know of Alec's identity. Elizabeth did her best to distance herself from supernatural anything - growing up to be a beautiful young woman, it has become her nightly activity to attend dinners and parties at others' houses. But beneath this pretty facade is a bright mind - with her silver tongue she has urged her uncle and aunt to allow her to attend secondary school and college. Well-read, intelligent, keen, level-headed, but ignorant on her part. But all is subject to change, if the right conditions surface. At the moment she resides in the old estate of her uncle and aunt's, working as a capable governess especially in literature and music (specifically the cello and piano).

❝Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.❞

@Arc en ciel My character Jonathan and Eevie's character Skylar are headed to a party. Since Elizabeth is upper class as well, maybe you'd like to join our characters there?
@Nightra Thanks for helping me out with that. I have no idea how I messed up the clock so much, haha

@Eevie What movie? XD Am I missing something?
@Arcturus Thank you for adding me! That sounds like a good idea. I'll have Elizabeth join the party on Cherry Street, since she goes to them often enough anyways. Is anyone open for Alexander?
SN: I'm also in the same time zone as Nightra :) So it's late here.

@Arc en ciel Sounds wonderful! Also, I suppose Alexander could encounter William and Duraal. They're headed to a different section of town, and the area is known for vampires and whatnot. Or he could intrude on Severin and Estelle, which would really complicate things. I think the roleplay is still pretty open so far, so don't be hesitant to jump in C: Plus, if a scene seems to be dragging on, throwing in another character always livens things up and keeps it rolling, which is good for a plotless RP
Also, I seem to be the one in the super late timezone, haha. It's all good though.
