appearance ;; Amaro is a very tall, petite gray wolf, standing at 46in at the shoulder, and weighing 97 pounds. His frame is very lean, and his ribs are visible at all time. His thick pelt is the purest shade of ebony, and is velvety to the touch. His eyes are almond shaped, dark amber in color with soft golden flecks near the pupil. His maw is a bright silvery grey, denoting an older age. Although they most aren't visible, he has one very prominent scar; a wolf bite mark scar on the left side of his throat. His voice is extremely soft, and silky; he smells of honey and chamomile.
personality ;; Amaro is a very votaile wolf, yet the first thing you may is his skittish behavior. Years of witnessing life-changing events have crafted him to be very wary of all living creatures that aren't within his tight circle of family. If curiosity gets the better of you, may also notice he is very passive-aggressive; aptly put, he is very moody. One moment he can seem fine, the next a vicious behemoth; this is due to his intuitive nature. He notices the most subtle of things; an eye twitch, a muscle spasm, or a blank maw, and interprets them quite quickly and skillfully. Due to not having to best control of his temper, he can lead to have a very peculiar presence that is a challenge to the most patient of wolves, not to mention he can be very cold and cruel. He is very skillful in the use of words when he wants to be, taking social cues all too well, but not implementing them the way most wolves are taught. All of these factors added, it is safe to say he is a very awkward in any social confrontation, and prefers to avoid them.
Due to this, not many realize is a very intelligent brute; he asks questions and answers question that others wouldn't dream of, and is always striving to get better. No knowledge is enough to satisfy his thirst. He is also very wise and adaptable; the very same experiences that make him quite awkward have taught him well, and he knows how to make due with what he has. Of his years of roaming show in the rare moments he actually does speak to someone. He is very knowledgeable, and quite fatherly. The very tongue that stings can also soothe. To those he loves and cares for as his family, he is very compassionate, treating them with kindness and doing anything he can for them. But that is only for his family, and his trust must be earned. Regardless, he considered the entire west pack his family, and he will die for them without hesitation.
strengths ;; Amaro is very intelligent, wise and loyal. Although he isn't the best as social interaction, he will sacrifice everything for his pack without a moment's hesitation. He knows what to make do with what is given, and is very adaptable to any given situation - he is also very good at tactics and strategy. He also has exemplary knowledge of herbs and most non-herbal plants.
weaknesses ;; Amaro is very introverted and awkward with social interaction, and very moody, not to mention hard to read. Also, due to his age, Amaro is not in the best physical shape, and therefore, not the best at hunting or fighting.
