History: [Optional] From the border between Louisiana and Texas, Diesel was formerly a stray until an elderly woman took him in. However, when a hurricane struck the small town where the two lived, Diesel lost his owner in the midst of the storm. After many days without a roof over his head- and a broken foreleg-, a local shelter team rescued him and gave him food, water, and tended to his leg, but then the shelter filled up, due to many other homeless animals. So, the local shelter team transported him to the Yellow Valley Animal Shelter, which is where his currently being treated.
