Harper's mother was always someone she stuck too. Her
father was killed in an accident years before which meant
that no one was there to protect the girls of the family.
Harper's first instinct in anything is to flee and has no
fierce bone in her body which meant that she would always
get bullied and used. One day she was walking back home
when she was yanked into a group of boys. They said they
were just playing and wanted her to play, being scared and
not knowing what to do, Harper made a run for it. She ran
and she almost made it home when one of the boys caught
her by the arm and dragged her back to the group who
proceed to push her on the ground. They were going
to hurt Her and she was getting terrified so she
reached out and grabbed hold of a glass bottle that was
laying near the ground. Having nothing else to do, she
smashed it on the boys head on top of her and stabbed
another in the side with the remains of it. The other boys
ran and got authorities that, although seeing how she was
tousled, said it was her fault and took her away. It was
a year, she spent in there before being shipped off to the
remains of earth but even though she was sent to that
hellhole, she still remained fragile and a scared young girl.
She become aware that bad things happened and people
died, but she acknowledged that she didn't have to be the
one harming others.

James was never one to show his emotions. He lived with his twin
brother Jasper and his parents. Being born first and in their home, James
was able to get his ID without a problem. Their family made it a secret
about having twins and the doctor was nice enough to help with the
second baby. However, right after, he left not wanting to be caught up in
the middle. Over the years everything was going well, being twins they
would take turns going out being James. James however, got into a habit
of taking things that, well, weren't his. At first they were small things and
later on they become bigger things. He never got caught because he made
sure to clear his track, never letting anyone catch on. One fateful day, his
brother was taken by the authorities. James was never close to anyone
other than his twin brother, Jasper. He has this bad boy aura around him
but in reality he is nowhere close to being a bad boy. He is just blunt
about what he thinks is right and will be straightforward, not caring if it
breaks rules. James is quick to anger and Jasper was his wall so when
Jasper was taken away. James lost it, going on a rampage and went to the
only other thing that calmed him down and took his mind off things.
Stealing. Since he didn't care anymore, he became sloppy and was
frequently being chases by authorities. He got caught finally and with a
quick goodbye to his family was shipped off. Near the end of all the
processes of being taken, he knew that this wasn't so bad after all. He
could find Jasper and be together with his other half again.

Never feeling like anybody, Jasper stayed quiet and just stayed at home most days. James was the only one who truly knew him and was the only person he was open with and told all his secrets to. Having to pretend that he was James at times, neither one of them truly had any friends outside of themselves. That was completely alright with James but Jasper always wanted to have that friendship connection with others. He takes any type of relationship with others seriously since once he makes a friend or someone close, he will be loyal and trustworthy to them from then on. The day he was found out by authoritative was by accident and a stupid move. He had wished that he hadn't been so stupid. They had guest over and it was his turn to stay hidden. As they left, he didn't wait for someone to tell him the coast was clear and walked out while one was still there. They left wordlessly but the next day they found out that the guest had ratted them out and Jasper was taken away from his family and brother. He was torn and didn't know how to react around others since he never truly had a personality for himself. Knowing it was a eat or be eaten world, he took some of his brothers traits of being blunt and sarcastic to help him survive. He never thought he would be able to see his other half again.
