So there is still snow on the ground? I wasn't sure since someone said it was becoming Springtime.

Well in real world it's been spring.

But in this story so far, only 3-4 days have passed. So it would still be winter with lots of snow hypothetically.

But this also means that the trees will be brittle and dry. You get a big enough wind storm and say forest covers a majority of the dome. Boom, everyone's shoved into a corner.

That's true, with strong enough winds, there will be a quick forest fire in no time.
Although, considering the snow and the location of the Dome, wouldn't the snow still be covering some of the trees as well, making some of the branches a bit moist in a way?
All up for the idea though.

If you get a strong enough blizzard going before hand or just strong enough winds, you could blow most of the snow out of the trees. This would quicken the rate fire spread and help it travel without running into snow
