look savannah elves aren't even really a type it's kind of a variat snow elf that can be lumped into same category XD

I don't even know what all of those elves look like except for three.

Which are the High elves (pretty much every elf in Rivendell xD), Half Elves (Elrond), and Sylvan elves (the elves in Mirkwood).

Well, traditionally LotRs Elves are one of three, Ñoldor, Sindar, or Silvan; Haldir and his lot are Silvan, and Legolas was brought up Silvan, but his ancestry (and Thranduil's) is Sindarin, like Galadriel and Celeborn.

Silvan elves were considered sorta less sophisticated and in need of ruling, hence Sindarin elves being in charge. But Thranduil's lot wanted to get back to the old ways, getting back in touch with nature, so they "became" Silvan.

I'm not very educated when it comes to elf types, obviously XD

Psssssh if you've ever seen the vast variety of Elf subraces in D&D, you know just how many different types of wonderful wonderful Elves can exist in the world XD
