I can agree with that Fire. Reading others post is quite entertaining and motivating. Does anyone else here read role plays or books to help them with their muse ?

i’ve never thought about skimming other roleplays for inspiration but maybe i should 👀 i usually find myself motivated for new characters after a good movie or something :P but this is also coming from a student who has no time to read for pleasure these days LOL

Not really, but maybe I should try that.
I usually just try music if I have writers block, or I just stop altogether and take a break.

I should have said inspiration . As a full time worker, I understand that feeling, Senna . Selling cars from sun up to sun down 5 days a week. Typically read on my breaks , it helps with my vocabulary big time! It’s worth a try Spirit, I didn’t realize the out come until a finished a book.

and speaking of, I am writing for Nanuq right now~

I'm a little lucky with being on my computer 24/7. I work in apartment management LOL. So I am tied to this computer I swear.

I even re-read my old rp's from like 2012...(yikes i'm old.) , and it keeps me interested and helps me re-fresh my ideas and characters. I've had River and Blaze for YEARS and reading how they've constantly changed (well.. blaze has always been kind of a turd). Along with my writing and plot ideas. Reading through can be a lot of fun!

Also @Siren, best of luck with Blaze's emotional spillage

I can tell from at least Blaze that you've had that character for a good while. I love being able to develop a character further like that, sometimes you just need to find the right characters to interact with to deepen those characteristics!

Someone pass me a tissue , Blaze’s post brought water to my eyes . You did great at filling in the emotion - that felt real ! & I’ll get to reading Nanuq in just a moment . Senna_ what helped you learn to make better flow in posts . From your recent post I’ve noticed one sentence literally rolls into another and nothing feels rigid .

Beta in Redmoon is now open again !

cough, blaze would take it, cough

You are the KINDEST. Blaze is probably the easiest for me to write for, so protective of that boy

all in favour of Blaze say I. I feel like I don't have enough knowledge of the plot to offer to take that spot hahah

TheSiren -- ugh thank you for saying that, I'm always questioning how easy/difficult my posts are to follow along with. I'm going to be completely honest, I don't have a method! Sometimes if I have certain points I want to cover I'll write that part out then add in those connecting sentences. Your writing also reads very smoothly.
