Another thing is, guys, if anyone's having trouble figuring out how NOT to, we can do some practice between myself and whoever is struggling so that it can be learned.

Thanks, Frij. <3 Words of wisdom indeed, and well taken to heart. I believe Frij is a prime example of ability to grow from god-modding. It wasn’t a long time ago that he would’ve been one of the people I could accuse of such, and he learned quick.

Not to worry, Aron, I've noticed no problems from you, though if anyone else has, I'm sure it was unintentional.

In fact, I'm certain everyone's is unintentional. Everyone just needs some more practice, and some more teaching.

@Aron: You're are great! Good job!
I'll try to clean mine up a bit too, I guess I just like making large descriptions and that usually gets in the way.

That's where I like to assume another piece of writing advice applies. The faster-paced something is, the shorter the descriptions between changes in characters need to be. Basically, a character can only do so much before someone else reacts, and the faster the pace, like in a fight, the less that is.

See you, Phoenix!
Makes sense. I'll cut down my posts.
Thank you! And good luck, Aron! <3

Exactly. I know I might’ve sounded harsh, or judgemental when I got frustrated, but guys, it’s not that I’m MAD. I'm not, don’t worry. It’s more than anything just overwhelming and difficult to watch. And I want to help, so that everyone can have fun, and the matches can be fair.

I’m not accusing anyone, I’m not trying to tell anyone they did something WRONG, or that they're TRYING to be unfair, because I don’t for a SECOND believe any of that. I just want to make sure things play out the way RP is built to, and if that requires me to stop a scene and be open to helping, then that’s what I’ll do.

If you guys at all feel you can’t get there, or want extra practice/help, feel free to message me, and we can do some practice in PM, away from others while I help and give some feedback.

@Viper: Trust me, as a writer of 8+ years, I can 100% understand that. You can still be descriptive with how your character attempts, or how they move, without assuming the reaction or skill set of the other party. In some cases, yes, it makes sense. If a wolf like Max tried to take Leo down, obviously Leo would fail. But especially in the cases of wolves who are closely matched in strength and size (of the ones currently ongoing: Fish/Raven, Octavia/Ash, and a couple others) that should ESPECIALLY be left up to both RPers to react.

I’ve gotta head out for an hour, maybe a bit less, but if people want help, message me.

I've struggled a lot with this type of problem, so I've done my best to learn how to avoid it, as tempting as it is, especially for newer RPers. Not getting it right away is okay, as long as you're trying.
