perrie. wrote:Name: leapkit { leappaw/leaptail
Leapkit got her name from the way she bounds and doesn't walk or run, she will be called Leaptail when she becomes a warrior because she always moves and flicks her tail
Gender: she-cat
Clan: depends
Rank: kit
Personality/Skills: Leapkit is a small cat with a large personality, as her name suggests, she is a pro at bouncing and leaping, she is quiet around strangers, but she can be very hyper at times, bounding across the nursery as fast as she can, then getting scolded by her mother, she is sweet and has a warm heart, although sometimes she has a habit of fighting with her brothers. She is a beautiful calico cat with big green eyes.
Important Notes: -Name: coalkit { coalpaw / coalclaw
coalkit got his name from the way he looks like he has coal or soot smeared all over his white pelt, he will be called coalclaw because of his fighting skills.
Gender: tom-cat
Clan: depends
Rank: kit
Personality/Skills: coalkit is a quiet tom, he hates other kits who annoy him and is easily irritated, although he seems grumpy and reserved, he can be playful and caring towards the ones he loves and will protect them with his life. He will grow up to become an excellent fighter, knowing almost every battle move and will be presented the name coalclaw because of the battles he fights in, Coalkit is a white kit with black smudges all over him and he has amber eyes.
Important Notes: -{ thanks for your last review, Aracaii, I think I will change the names about a little, I'm sorry about the lack of personality, I was very busy, these are some kits that one of my warriors might be having.}
Sure, don't worry about it. I'll review these guys, then!
LeaptailName Rating: 3/10
Name Type: Creative
Name Reasoning: No matter how much a kit will jump around, they're incapable of doing so at birth. For the first three weeks of life, they're wiggling, wailing, blind and deaf balls of fat and fur. They can't do much else other than be that. (Trust me, I've had no less than 3 kitten litters in my house, and it is impossible to interact with them meaningfully.) Even when they're able to walk around, they don't do much other than stumble and bump into walls. Plus, Leap- is not a descriptor of a pelt, which is what the prefix is for, so we've got that thrown right out the window.
-tail is to be used only for a cat who's good at climbing. She doesn't appear to be this way, and, really, I don't think she has any skills worth naming, so...but! She is pretty, so that's worth a name.
Alternative Name: Brightface/Patchface. Bright- indicates a majorly white-or-light-colored cat with darker patches over their fur, Patch- is for the patches over her fur (obviously), and -face is to show off her prettiness.
Character Rating: 9/10
Character Reasoning: I don't think I have anything to critique, personality wise!
CoalclawName Rating: 5/10
Name Type: Canonical
Name Reasoning: When I saw that he was a white cat I actually screamed (or of laughter or grief, I don't know). I do understand that he's named for those smudges, but they're not the majority of his pelt. The white is. There's a bonus that cats do not know what coal is (it's a twoleg thing, why on earth would they be near it?), so that name's stricken off.
However, his suffix is just fine! So there's that.
Alternative Name: Magpieclaw/Diverclaw. Both prefixes are for a white-and-black cat, and -claw fits his fighting skills.
Character Rating: 9/10
Character Reasoning: Like his sister, his personality is just fine. Well done to both!
