Oooh I’m curious! What are our Marine folks' Justice codes of choice??


Absolute: Pretty standard for the Marines. Destroy criminals, protect civilians. Mostly. Some civilians may be casualties while destroying criminals. Basically, let no criminal go unpunished, a criminal is evil, regardless of who they are. The end justifies the means. Immoral or extreme actions may be taken.

Unclear: One of the forms of justice that just makes no sense. Often choosing to prioritize petty criminals, or have casual conversations with pirates, and be willing to turn on someone very easily. Admiral Kizaru's justice code.

Thorough: A subclass of Absolutely Justice, Thorough Justice will invoke immoral acts such as total destruction of a group of people or a place to eliminate a select few criminals. Admiral Akainu's justice code.

Humane/Moral: Protect all innocents, take down criminals. Except if criminals have acted as good people, then they may get off the hook. This justice code is generally frowned upon, but it does exist. Admiral Fujitora's justice code.


There are others, but those are the main ones I could remember.

Helmeppo: Absolute Justice, willing to dip into Thorough Justice. His exact justice code is unknown in canon, as he seems fairly indifferent to the Marines as a whole.

Shawn: Moral Justice

Tashigi: Unclear Justice, with a lean towards Absolute

Ashton: Absolute Justice, MAY dip into Thorough.
