A large golden tabby with brown-green eyes.
Name: Waspheart
Gender: Tom
Clan: Firclan (potentially a lame fic-clan idk yet)
Rank: Deputy
Personality/Skills:
Waspheart is a cat who believes wholeheartedly in honour. He is an idealist and always looks for the best in others, and is determined to never give up on anyone. His honest belief inspires his clanmates to do better, and he seems to have a natural leadership about him, capable of rallying even the most apathetic of clancats with speeches and words. His ideals often coincide with the Warrior Code, and as such he has somehow become the old stereotypical rule-follower. In fact, many older clanmates remember the days when young Wasp-paw constantly picked fights with rival clancats three times his size for disagreeing with his views or coming just that little bit too close to the border. Thankfully he has mellowed with age, though that spark of fire still is present and shows itself form time to time. He is stubborn beyond all belief, especially when his morals are called into question, and he sees the world very much in black and white; he struggles with the concept of grey morality, and would let the world burn so to speak before lowering himself to what he deems unforgivable. He is a good though not exceptional fighter, average in hunting and tracking, but slightly on the slow side.
Important Notes:
[shrrugs] im not very good with righteous characters tbh im much better with more ambiguous and sleezy sorts
Image/Description:
An unusually tall and long-limbed black cat with green eyes, a long, pronounced snout and large ears. His somewhat abnormal appearance is considered appealing and a pleasant curiosity.
Name: Starlingface
Gender: Tom
Clan: Firclan
Rank: Warrior
Personality/Skills:
Starlingface is an interesting bundle of contradictions. Born in Leafbare, his mother died from a bought of greencough spreading through camp, which never bothered him too much as he hardly remembered her. His father, though never unkind, was distant and took little interest in his only son's progress. Starlingface himself always strove to try and impress his father, which through a combination of his own mediocrity and his father's disinterest never worked out too well. Eventually Stalingface gave up and moved on to better things, though apparently the episode led him to believe that he had little value as a fighter or hunter. He has pretty much always been aware of his attractiveness and he is very smart, capable of thinking up battle plans and ideas on the spot, and in this he is very confident, to the point of arrogance. He is very charming and has a silvertongue, tending to talk and flirt his way out of situations rather than to fight. He often works with Waspheart to formulate strategies, acting as his balance. Starlingface is every bit as stubborn as the deputy, but sees the importance of compromise and having to bloody paws occasionally, though the warrior perhaps too easily resorts to these measures. He is the cynic to Waspheart's idealist, grounding him when he begins to float. Though there is obviously a lot of bickering and differing viewpoints, the two are close friends, and work well together. Though he flirts thoughtlessly with most cats, it has become evident to most of the clan (apart from the deputy himself) that Starlingface's interest in Waspheart may not be purely platonic.
Important Notes: ech the name fits but it seems really clunky to me idk. firclan is in a rather secluded area where kittypets are pretty much non-existent. Starling has asian-cat heritage, which i dont quite know how to explain in words but i see a lot irl. im a sucker for the cynic loving the idealist trope im sorry i am trash

A small reddish-brown tabby with yellow eyes and white muzzle and throat.
Name: Grousefang
Gender: Molly
Clan:Firclan
Rank: Warrior
Personality/Skills:
Grousefang is a tough cat. She is by far one of the most ruthless and fierce fighters in the clan, and a level-headed and talented hunter. When out of camp she takes no nonsense and is entirely goal-focused, a contrast with the loud and boisterous cat she is when not on patrol. She loves to laugh and makes jokes, and is most certainly not your prim and proper blushing queen. She is frequently somewhat vulgar in her jokes, but her clanmates have learnt to just let her be for fear of incurring her wrath. Despite her apparent disregard, Grousefang is extremely religious. As an apprentice she was involved in an accident that was feared would cost her life, or at least leave her seriously crippled. When she made a miraculous recovery with almost no side-effects, she became convinced it was the will of Starclan. She takes nothing more seriously than her ancestors and is highly superstitious, believing any 'omens' that may be presented to her, even if interpreted by a kit.
Important Notes: idk more boring
Wolvine, I don't know what it is, but your way of talking and characters charm me every time I come across them. I have no idea why. I'm always cracking up (both in amusement and just general "this is rad") at your notes and some character descriptions.
That...probably sounded really weird and out of left field. I'm sorry. Anyway...
WaspheartName Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: Why does the name Waspheart resonate with me so much? Maybe because it just sounds super cool, or like a superhero/supervillain name. Whatever it is, I love it.
Anyway, his name is perfect for him!
Alternate Name: None!
Character Assessment: This guy's awesome! I can definitely see him being chosen as a deputy, and he's got an interesting history and personality. No complaints!
Also, ambiguous and sleazy characters are excellent. As are ambiguously sleazy characters.
Character Suggestions: None.
StarlingfaceName Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: Not much to say! It's a good name. If you're having trouble with the prefix, I can recommend some others to you.
Alternate Name: Shadeface/Sloeface. Both prefixes describe a black cat, and his suffix stays as it is.
Character Assessment: I believe the term you're looking for is Oriental, which is a general breed description that refers to cats who are built like the siamese. My particular favorite (and just all around favorite breed) is the Oriental Shorthair.
Anyways, he's neat! I have to wonder how he ended up looking like he did (perhaps some kittypet ancestry), so an explanation for that wouldn't be amiss, but either way, I like him.
AND DONT WORRY...ITS A GOOD TROPE...(Arcaii confession time: hates romance, but loves the cynic/idealist trope. Loves it. But only if it's done well.)Character Suggestions: None!
GrousefangName Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: Three in a row on solid names! Well done.
Alternate Name: None!
Character Assessment: Oh, my God, I love her. I feel like we would get along extremely well when off the clock.
This sounds like an all around entertaining cat to read about, to write, or just to listen to, and I extremely like the religious aspect, especially when juxtaposed with her personality. What else can I say here? Tenouttaten.
Character Suggestions: None!
