With a Clan cat, I always recommend reciting the number one rule of a warrior: they don't exist in a vacuum. What I mean by that is, your cat lives in a very close community, and one that expects certain things out of all of its members and holds certain values. Those values are imposed on every single cat as they grow, so they should naturally be an important component when you create your character.

I mean, honestly, there's a lot you could do with a cat that just reacts to the rules themselves. You gotta have the box before think outside of it, though, so to speak.

(Name/character review if possible? Thanks!)
Image/Description: Faded brown tabby she-cat with green eyes, white paws+tail tip
Name: Sagefoot
Gender: female
Clan: n/a (living in a group of four clan cats trying to rebuild clan)
Rank: Warrior
Personality/Skills: Bright, bubbly, and young, Sagefoot is a ball of energy, and her group's best hunter. Her speed is a great asset to her hunting, which she uses to her advantage. She can be a bit shy or timid sometimes, as she is the youngest cat in the group and does not want to contradict the older, more experienced warriors even if she's right.
Important Notes: n/a

Image/Description: Grey ticked tabby tom with pale green eyes
Name: Stonedust
Gender: Male
Clan: n/a (living in a group of four clan cats trying to rebuild clan)
Rank: Warrior/Med Cat
Personality/Skills: Somewhat reserved, Stonedust is the oldest cat in the group. He has an approximate knowledge of a few herbs, and he tries his best to keep the group healthy. Stonedust is not very good at hunting anything other than mice and voles, but he is an experienced, though not exceptional, fighter. He does not like making decisions by himself, and prefers to go over ideas with the group before committing to them.

As you wish!

Sagefoot
Name Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: Sage- is best fitted on a pale grey cat (since its flowers are a light violet color, and purples are usually translated to grey for the sake of naming). Her suffix fits her just fine, though I want to ask if she's a better hunter than she is fast. If she's only a good hunter because of her speed, then keep the sufix.
Alternate Name: The description of "faded" gave me a little trouble, so I went with some basic names - Pipitfoot/Oakfoot. Pipit- and Oak- describe a brown or grey-brown tabby with markings, and -foot stays as it is.

Character Assessment: I think she's good to go! She has just enough traits that all fit together and give her some character, and yet not enough to make her fully developed. If you're starting to write the story now, or just getting into the Rp, or whatever the case may be, this is a good place to start.
Character Suggestions: Be sure to figure out her character arc and develop her as her story goes on.

Stonedust
Name Type: Canonical
Name Reasoning: Been a while since I gave that type in a review...
Anyway, Stone- can go for a grey cat, but usually a plain one, not a tabby. I'm not quite sure what -dust would mean as a suffix - is he known to kick up dust as he walks (which wouldn't be name-worthy)? Does he sit still for so long that it's joked that he gathers dust (also not name-worthy)? Is he dirty all the time (not kind to name for)? I have no idea.
Alternate Name: Hailfur/Burdockpelt (suffixes interchangeable). Both prefixes describe a grey cat, tabby or not, and as he has no nameable skills, he receives the default suffixes.

Character Assessment: Like above, he's good to go for the start of a story. I don't think I have much else to say here!
Character Suggestions: Just do the same for him as Sagefoot.

Name: Lionclaw
Description: Here
Important Notes: He's a little rascal and a brat, but he's very gentle and loves to lick people. He loves to attack everything and anything, and is a very horrible climber. He's pretty clumsy when running, but is a decent hunter. Also, if possible, do you have any clue what breed he would be? He has huge ears and a long tail, for such a small cat.

Name: Smokepelt
Description: Here
Important Notes: Kind towards others as long as she knows them, but isn't afraid to bring out the claws around strangers. Very cautious, easily frightened, and holds a grudge against others for long periods of time. Not much of a hunter or a climber, she loves to explore and run around.

Hee! They're cute cats (particularly Lionclaw's base).

Lionclaw
Name Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: If you're going to make characters based off of them, I'd recommend increasing his fighting skill. But as a domestic cat, I think it fits him fine.
Alternate Name: None!
Notes: You know, he looks really young. So I'm not sure on whether it's his age or his breed that makes him look like that. But I'd take one. Gosh, he's adorable.

Smokepelt
Name Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: Smoke- is best on a tabby, rather than a dilute tortoiseshell. Other than that, her name is fine.
Alternate Name: Lichenpelt/Sycamorepelt. Both prefixes describe a dilute tortie, and her suffix stays as it is.
Notes: None.

Image
Name: Dawnwhisker.
Gender: Molly.
Clan: RiverClan.
Rank: Deputy.
Personality&Skills: Dawnwhisker is a decided, confident and dominant deputy. She knows what she can and can't do, she knows which patrols and decisions she can undertake. Dawnwhisker prefers professionally planned and thought-through plans rather than acting immediately, but improvises well enough. She's rather fierce when it comes to justice, preferring it over mercy and such. While she's around no cat can mock, insult, attack or trespass on her Clan territory without her interfering. Dawnwhisker is an excellent hunter, very light on her paws, for most of the time actually. Some say she was caught up in an ambush attach, and from that day she is overly vigilant and alert. She often stands guard for the night.
Important Notes: Nope!

Image
Name: Shrikestep.
Gender: Tom.
Clan: ShadowClan.
Rank: Warrior.
Personality&Skills: Shrikestep is an alert and watchful cat, tending to notice small details. He prefers to have the high ground whenever he can, and prefers wide open spaces from which he has an all-angle view. He is a good tactician and develops crafty plans, taking each possibility into consideration. Shrikestep has developed rather barbaric battle tactics that are not met with much approval, especially from his leader. However, the warrior does not see anything wrong with impaling his enemies on thorns. He knows that this is a crushing move that gives much advantage, and convinces other to use it when he can. Shrikestep thinks that his brutish techniques put fear into his opponent's heart, and help gain ShadowClan veneration. He thinks that his once-mighty Clan has grown soft and underestimated, and that Lilystar isn't doing much to raise their reputation. He deeply desires to lead ShadowClan, and bring them back to full glory, when they were powerful and fearsome.
Important Notes: He is the mastermind villain of my story.

Image
Name: Brunetheart.
Gender: Tom.
Clan: ThunderClan.
Rank: Warrior.
Personality&Skills: Brunetwhisker is a hotheaded, impatient and impulsive warrior. He satisfies his endless energy and vigor with plotting along with Shrikestep, in their hideout. Brunetwhisker was exiled because he was rather violent at battle training, challenged the leader [very boisterously] and because he constantly picked fights with other-Clan patrols. The tom is certain that it was for the good of the Clan, to eliminate the weak and prepare the strong, to ensure that a sole leader can't take full responsibility for a whole Clan [one cat is bound to make mistakes, after all he was just correcting, or so he thinks] and to make ThunderClan feared. A feared Clan is a safe Clan, because no cat would dare attack it.
Important Notes: Think what you like Brunet, but what you believe in isn't exactly met with much approval, you villain.

I am very sorry for the wait! I've been preoccupied with a lot of stuff that doesn't leave much room for reviews or let's reads. (I haven't even gotten to draw for the past three days...)

Dawnwhisker
Name Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: Her name fits her perfectly! I don't have much more to say here.
Alternate Name: None!

Character Assessment: She's a stellar choice for deputy, and I definitely like that her skills tie into her personality. A -whisker cat is no doubt going to be more careful and likely to take planned steps than, say, a -tail cat. I have no complaints!
Character Suggestions: None!

Shrikestep
Name Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: I didn't even know that shrikes impaled their prey, but when I looked them up to make sure it was an accurate name... hooh. That is brutal.
His name fits him excellently, cruelty aside.
Alternate Name: None!

Character Assessment: Thorns aren't exactly long, so impaling isn't really an option, but I could see him happily using thorns to his advantage in battle (trapping cats in thorn bushes to die, etc). This cat is a straight up villain, and the fact that he actually was using this villainy to help his Clan is interesting. He's solid!
Character Suggestions: None!

Burnetheart
Name Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: And, again, his name is perfect for him!
Alternate Name: None!

Character Assessment: I'm intrigued that a ShadowClan cat would be working with a ThunderClan cat, especially considering that both of them have been known to be hostile towards outsiders. Buuut, if one of them was being manipulated, or it's a mutual beneficiary relationship, or something, I can see it working just fine.
Character Suggestions: None.

Image/Description: Red and white tom with green eyes. Click!
    Name: Morningclaw
    Gender: Male
    Clan: FanClan
    Rank: Warrior
Personality/Skills: Morningclaw, as his suffix suggests, is exceptionally skilled in combat. Levelheaded, patient and considerate, Morningclaw is known to get on well with just about everyone and can often be spotted helping out others, whether it be cleaning out dens when he is not busy or comforting someone should they be worrying about something. With a professional outlook on training, this tom is disciplined and will do his best to make an apprentice under his charge the best warrior they can be.
Important Notes: I swear I come to you every time I have a new character I like second opinions
I'm not too sure on his prefix (and to be honest I think a part of me chose it just to get back at people who think Morning- is a feminine prefix) but red and white cats are so difficult to name!

This sounds great that you went into great detail for some characters reviews and those first few posts describing the do's and don'ts of naming or making personalities and such!
This is a pretty old character that I know is really kind of a Mary-Sue, but I wanna see how bad they really were. The second is newer, and really just an edited character my friend came up with a long time ago.

Name: Silvermoon (As a leader is Silverstar)
Gender: Female
Clan and Rank: Wind Clan leader
Image Description: Grey and white skinny she cat, with slightly long fur and white chest, belly, and paws. Deep blue eyes, and pink nose.
Notes: Although a leader, she often backs away from battles and is seen by the other clans as a bit of a coward.

Name: Vinetail
Gender: Male
Clan and Rank: River Clan Medicine cat (Actually he is from a fan-clan, but it probably matches up to river clan pretty well)
Image Description: A fully dark brown tom, with just the very end of his ears white tipped. Skinny cat, with a very long tail and sleek fur. Olive-green eyes, black nose.
Notes: He is really a nice cat, but his temper with those who don't listen is really quite short. Although he planned on being a warrior in his apprentice training, he participated in a battle and realized he liked the idea of helping cats more than fighting. He isn't the best at finding herbs, but he is great at calming stressed cats out.

Hi Arcaii! Thanks for reviewing the last trio. I think I'll have Shrike manipulate Brunet a little. Anyway, I've come with some less-villainous characters today.

Image
Name: Eveningstorm. Pretty awesome, huh?
Gender: Molly.
Clan: Wondering where to put her.
Rank: Warrior.
Personality/Skills: Eveningstorm; The cat that can't sit still. She has heaps of energy and gets bored easily. Not a very safe combination. She is constantly shifting and trying to get up to mischief. Whatever it takes, she will stay amused. Evening loves competition and while she doesn't mind loosing, it annoys her when the fun ends. As you can see is a really lively whirlwind. However, she is super-sensitive to weather changes and may grow dull or generally sleepy and tired very suddenly.
Important Notes: Next up is her sister, who is fleshed out better.

Image
The gray one.
Name: Breamtail.
Gender: Molly.
Clan: Wondering where to put her.
Rank: Warrior.
Personality/Skills: Breamtail's main quest is to inspire and encourage everyone. She knows about slow beginnings a little too well. Bream quickly catches on new things, and practices new techniques, she is a diligent and concentrated worker for the greater part. When she grows familiar with the profession she's been learning about, Bream can become overconfident and overestimate her skills. She's had some accidents she wishes her sister hadn't seen. She loves trying new things and enjoys competition, tough she loathes loosing and can be touchy about it. Bream has an excellent balance tough, she's very proud of her climbing skills. Unusually enough, she waits for ice each year because she adores ice-skating. Bream is usually rather patient, except when she's dying to get better at something, and is a social cat, interested in the other Clans' lore and tactics. Not that anyone would tell her.
Important Notes: Nope!

Right, all for now, might come back with Dawnwhisker's family and/or a -cloud villain.
