@All; sorry for poofing for a bit. I'll probably not be able to post until Tuesday, sadly. A hail storm took out most of the power lines/internet where I live, and I doubt they'll be fixed until late tomorrow. I'm currently sending this from a near-ish town, lol. Has anybody else seen tennis-sized hail?

personality;; Elaine is a broken girl. She is very quiet, will never speak up unless someone talks to her first, and always seems surprised when people do that. She is indecisive, always worried of making a wrong choice, but in truth she is very caring.
From outside she might seem like an empty shell, but her mind is always racing. All the things she sees in the past make her seem very inattentive, and it is true she tends to think about the past and not the present. Sometimes, Elaine will suddenly talk out loud about something she was thinking of, and this tendency has led others to believe she is weird. She is always alone.

appearance;; Sylvia is a rather short woman, with a mass of brown hair and chocolate eyes. She is neither thin nor fat. She always stands straight, almost on her tiptoes, and constantly has a wide smile on her face.
personality;; Sylvia is about the most friendly and welcoming librarian you could meet. She loves talking to other people- especially about books. In truth, she can be a bit of a chatterbox when it comes to her favorite books. She loves helping people out and will always do her maximum to do so. One strange thing about her is her photographic memory. She remembers every detail about everything she has lived, and she never forgets where anything is, or how anything happened. history;; Sylvia was born in a normal family, on the rich side, with a mother, a father and an older brother. From a very early age, her parents realized she was special, and soon she was pronounced a prodigy child thanks to her photographic memory. But despite her parents admiration and wonder of her, Sylvia never quite felt accepted. Her whole childhood, she devoured book upon book, trying to escape her extravagant parents and sullen brother. It was hard and she was drawn deeper and deeper into her shell.

Then one event changed her life. She heard a song. The song kept her company when she was alone, it calmed her when she was angry and brightened her up when she was sad. Suddenly she felt she didn't need to be what her parents wanted her to be- a scientist- and she could become whatever she wanted. Since then, she began to spend less time at home and more time in libraries, helping out and slowly becoming a happy girl once more. Then she got her letter, and she was at her happiest.

Years after that, she didn't want to leave Maeweather, the place that had allowed her to open up and become a good person. And since the librarian was getting old, she applied as assistant there. She was accepted, and when the librarian died she was promoted to librarian.
