➳family; Leo grew up with a fairly average family. His parents were very supportive of him in everything.. maybe a bit too supportive. The fact his parents were always there constantly praising him got overwhelming, so that influenced his decision to head off and become a trainer.

➳personality; Wise for his age, Leo always tries his best to help the others around him.

➳history; Leo left his home at the age of 16, far later than most trainers. His starter was Samurott- well, Oshawott at the time. Shortly after he began training Oshawott, he came across a frightened Audino. The poor thing seemed very frightened, and instead of having Oshawott fight her, Leo asked her to join his team. With the Audino helping, they easily defeated Cilian's Lillipup and Pansage, which let Leo earn the Trio Badge. Leo and his Pokemon fought the gym leaders, progressing and gaining new members along the way. Soon, Archeops and Zoroark had joined his team. Once the team defeated the final gym and recieved the legend badge, Leo decided to give his team a break before challenging the Elite Four. He and his Pokemon traveled Unova, now giving themselves time to really take in their surroundings. But everything was growing all so familiar to Leo, and he wanted to see somewhere completely new. That is why he decided to travel to the newly inhabited Alola region, since it seemed exciting. As he was exploring Mahalo Trail, however, he came across a small, strange Pokemon he'd never seen before. The Pokemon was quick to warm up to him, and would not stop following Leo. Leo scanned it with his Pokedex, but no result. After speaking with scientists, they gave the new Pokemon the name 'Cosmog'. After doing any research they could, they let Leo keep the Pokemon. Leo traveled back to Unova with his new companion. Time to get back to work. He and his team trained hard, for a long time, to be sure they could defeat the elite four. But through the training, Cosmog had evolved not once, but twice. After Leo consulted with the more local scientists, they named Cosmogs new forms 'Cosmoem' and 'Solgaleo'. He decided to give his team a rest, when he was called up to go with champions to check out a new island someone had discovered. He eagerly took the position, and that's how he became one of the chosen trainers.

➳personality; quiet and a bit depressive, calem is an odd one in his own right. he isn't the most social one around and tends to keep to himself even though he was one of the trainers that helped to save kalos previously. his distant personality is due to the attention he begun to get after helping with team flare and has ultimately caused him to he extremely secretive. under all the quietness, calem is a rather caring guy though it is hard to get to that side of him since he doesn't let too many people get close to him since he is afraid that they will only use him for their own bidding. he can get a bit snappy when he feels threatened but even though he seems like a loner, he is a decent team player. it however isn't smart to try and push him too much otherwise he might breakdown. he may not show his irritation or anger immediately, but he is great at giving the cold shoulder and is not afraid of ignoring others if he needs to.

➳history; calem was born in the kalos region and was the son of a rhyhorn racer. he was expected to do such as well, but he chose to become regular trainer instead. he would receive his starter pokemon from professor sycamore at the age of twelve and take off on his own journey with serena, trevor, shauna and tierno. on his adventure he was a fairly different kid than he would become after it ended. being quite a talkative and happy kid, he began to take on the gyms and setting his sights on becoming champion once he could. he would eventually have a run in with team flare and take it upon himself to deal with them along his journey. as he traveled to collect badges, he continue to encounter them until he finally would enter their hideout and discover the legendary xerneas. capturing the pokemon and foiling the team's plans, he finished collecting his badges before taking to the pokemon league to challenge the champion. however, he could never make it through the elite four thus putting his dream to an end. he would however be known as the boy who put team flare's to an end which ultimately gained him popularity he never wanted and made him much less social the more he was pushed by people. he would leave the house less and less causing those who cared for him to be concerned. eventually his mother would send him off to the orre region to try and put him at ease. finding some peace in the region he took up a rather quiet live. he took to learning about the shadow pokemon problem that had once crossed the regions lands, but he continued to be rather antisocial. even though he isn't originally from orre, he would become one of its chosen trainers even though he wasn't too keen on the idea

Out of curiosity I was searching up my character names in Bulbapedia to see if any trainers had the same name, and I managed to find another cool manga character. They actually had a canon Female-to-Male transgender character in the manga named Akari and oof I think thats really cool??? especially since im also FtM trans link
