I'm all for powers as long as they don't get too overpowered. With any power that will be listed, there will be limitations, like for the eyes they are a recessive gene (so it's basically a one-time deal).
Another example using the shadow bending, it would probably only work on a cloudy day or at night, and the more it was used the more tired the user gets. It would have limitations on its uses as to not have the character become overpowered.
I'm a little iffy on wings. If I did end up doing a giveaway on them, they would probably be more-so for decoration. Wings, having a change in parts of the body (like a flaming tail, or zebra patterned legs), elemental things, telepathy, etc., would all have a certain factor to them to make them more life-like in the positive and negatives. The color changing eyes for instance, can be a blessing and a curse. The eyes give away what you are feeling to those around you. There is no way to hide your mood changes if your upset or in love if others knew the different colors that correspond with it.
The reasons I'm trying to break them down a bit is to eliminate any chance of power playing, and I want the TOBP to remain as realistic as possible without delving too much into the fantasy genre
