Good luck with that (I don't really know how to help. I just do everything from CS, and even my art is usually stuff I've drawn on CS.)

Well this is neat. Very interested in joining this cozy rp. Quick question/suggestion, I was curious if it would be ok to add a library to the village? I think it fits the theme and I had a moody little librarian for it in mind . Though I was having a hard time imagining whether it would be like a multi-story type building or just a smaller house size building, or something else. (I am a city child you see 😂 ) So any suggestions are welcome of course.

@Wyverncult - I've been mainly well, myself, thanks <3 I say "mainly" because I've been lowkey stressing all month about wanting to participate in Artfight for the first time, but simultaneously feeling such a lack of motivation to actually draw, ahah :'3 I've honestly been struggling to regain the motivation for ages now, but here's hoping it finally comes back once I actually give it another go. Even if that ends up being after Artfight--I'd just like to get back into the art groove in general

If everyone involved agrees, I'd definitely be interested in keeping the thread with Bua, Will, and Aster going after the scenery change ^^ Star's been fairly busy lately, but I've been telling her about recent developments/plans here--she seemed relieved that we're able to continue threads after timeskips, in case she can't make it back on before then. It really does make things feel even chiller here, so thanks for adding that little detail 🤗

hi guys!! sorry for the inactivity, july is a very busy month for me - so i haven't been able to do much with my character. my birthday coming up, some personal stuff that happened during the beginning of the month, alongside my participation in artfight has kind of made my motivation when it comes to writing slow down. i'm still really excited to participate in this roleplay, and still very interested - i thought to keep y'all updated so it doesn't appear that i've gone missing haha!

i might possibly submit some new characters as well for a little bit of variety & to help with my ever fluctuating fixations, but we'll see about that! hope everyone has had a nice july so far !!!

Name - Byte
Age - 300+
Species - Ghost
Pronouns - He/Him

Franchise - Destiny (OC)
Occupation - Librarian
History - Having given up on finding his “chosen one” Byte had devoted himself to studying the many alien races who threatened humanity. Unfortunately, during one particular excursion, he was forgotten in the cold tundras of Europa. There, he was exposed to the powers of stasis, an elemental manifestation of darkness which saps away warmth. In a desperate bid to gain power and seem more useful, he accepted the darkness and let it combine with his light. By the time Byte was found, he had been completely changed. A somewhat unsettling aura now hangs over the little ghost, as if something was just ‘off’ about him.

Personality -With a stoic and calm demeanor, Byte acts much more human than computer. He can seem very withdrawn at first, speaking in a hushed tone, keeping his sentences short, and preferring to stay out of sight. However, this is mostly out of a thoughtfulness of others. Even just his presence can send shivers down the spines of strangers, so he prefers to keep his distance. Still, deep down Byte would like nothing more than to be useful and he enjoys witty conversation. Overall, Byte has come to appreciate solitude and he is content just to watch, listen, and gather information. If anything he has a bit of an addiction to hoarding information and finding the meaning behind everything. So, he spends most of his days quietly reading.

Abilities - Byte is a highly intelligent A.I. that has a knack for people reading. His stasis saps away warmth when he is touched and even encases things in dark ice when in contact for too long. However, without a ‘partner’ he can’t control the stasis effectively. His ‘eye’ can emit a sort of tractor beam to pick up small objects (<10lbs), a scanner to gather information, or a light to illuminate dark spaces.

Other - He’s not nearly as moody but he’s still a little guy. Might change a see things but this is mostly it.
