Hello all! I'm @rubyrocketboots13, but feel free to call me ruby. I am looking for someone who enjoys casual roleplaying! I love nearly any roleplay that is interesting or just a bit unusual with some romance. I love having good a combination of action/ drama/ romance in a roleplay! I have several ocs of all kinds, though most are humaniod, human, fantasy creatures or furry. I don't have many strictly animal ocs. I am comfortable playing both genders, though I have a slight tendency to use male ocs! I find males a little easier for me to roleplay most of the time. Here's some things that you should know if you want to roleplay with me and what I like/ don't like.

About me:
~ I always try to post at least post one or twice a day
~ I am most comfortable with posting in a thread or through discord
~ I sometimes post at weird times, though I am usually consistent with posting.
~ I am super flexible and easy-going about roleplays! I can do both super intense roleplaying and really light hearted ones, it just depends on what I'm feeling up to and what you are interested in
~ I have many different characters, both male and female. I have no preference over what gender I play!
~ I prefer posting at least a paragraph or two per post, but I will most likely mirror your posts
~ I prefer mxf pairings but will very rarely will do mxm

What I won't do:
~ Fxf pairings
~ I won't play as a nonbinary character
~ I won't roleplay as a canon character
~ I'm not really into most animal roleplays, such as warrior cats or dragons but I do enjoy wolf roleplays occasionally
~ I am not in a lot of fandoms, so I don't have very many ocs in fandoms besides LOK and ATLA
~ I don't do demon, zombie nor vampire roleplays ( I like werewolves and other fantasy creatures though!)
~ I don't usually role play more than three characters at a time
~ Most equestrian roleplays ( I know nothing about horses! If you would like to roleplay something with horse riders, expect my character to be unexperienced or new to riding)

~ Fantasy, sci-fi, action, romance ( or a combination of any of them! I'm pretty sentimental, so i really like romances to develop over a roleplay)
~ Furry/ Anthro
~ Werewolf/ animal shifters
~ Futuristic, modern or historical roleplays ( I am a big history buff)
~ Country/ Farmer themed roleplays ( I really love a city boy/girl meets a famer boy/girl roleplays)
~ Avatar: Last airbender and The Legend of Korra ( I love both, though I prefer the legend of Korra timeline. Or we can even work out a different time line? I am a huge geek about their universe, so I have a few ocs in that fandom!)
~ Highschool/ college roleplays ( They are... not really my favorite? I have done a few that i like, but I don't really seek them out anymore. If you have any ideas about a fantasy/ superpowered high school, I might be interested)
~ Super powered ocs! ( I am a big super hero fan)
~ Pretty much all fantasy creatures!
~ Something based on a song, either the characters or the plot
~ Forbidden romance, arranged marriages,romance clichés
~ Royal x Royal, Royal x Guard/ Servant, etc.
~ Street racing/ Motorcycle gang/ etc. ( Maybe with a darker theme? Even fantasy)

I'm real desperate for an RP, and really am lazy to really code or attempt to code, but like i'll explain as much as i can. hello there friends! i am peppersdots, but feel free to call me pepper, pep or any variation. i am a semi-lit to literate roleplayer, who has spent a good deal of their eight years on this site roleplaying, which means that i've covered pretty much every topic and know what i like. i am looking for someone who too can write at a semi-lit level, with nice grammar and spelling and who is willing to stick to an rp we create. pretty forms and posts in 1x1 are not my greatest concern, i'd rather have information than prettiness here. i have a few plots in mind for certain topics, but if you have one in mind, feel free to PM me and suggest it! i also prefer to play multiple characters, but am alright with just one each. however, if you only play female characters and want me to play a male & only a male, i am more likely to politely say no.

what i'm currently searching for the most is bolded. my greatest love to roleplaying is historical settings. i'm also a sucker for a well-thought out fantasy world, or a post apocalyptic world. i am firm in what i won't do. nothing of a supernatural, band, regular high school etc, and mxm and fxf pairings are just not within my comfort zone for writing's sake, as i'd rather write what i know. i am able to post minimum once a day usually, barring any unforeseen occurrence, but will warn you if something comes up.

About me

While my username is Amplify, you may also call me Amanda or Mandy if you’d prefer it. I am female (she/her pronouns) and live in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) Zone. I don't roleplay with canon characters, and though I am willing to do next gens, I prefer roleplaying in the general fandom world instead of what happens in the actual canon verse. What you can expect from me:

♪ I will respond as soon as I can. Ideally one to two posts per week, sometimes more or less depending on real life work/school/etc.
♫ My replies vary in length, ranging anywhere from 6-8 [semi-lit] to 15-20 [advanced lit] sentences depending on what I am given to work off of/what I can think of. I can stick with the latter throughout the roleplay upon request just so long as you promise to give me enough to work with and understand the occasional writers-block. I may also need more time in between posts for this type of role play.
♪ Typically I code my posts to be moderately fancy, which means they will all have a pretty heading alongside any basic information in an organized format. I usually reduce the size of my text by a small margin to make it look neater as well. I don't typically use colors or things like that.
♫ I have near-perfect grammar. This means that I typically do not make mistakes and I promise to try my best to keep it that way, but if I do make a mistake, please do not overreact. It isn’t the end of the world if I make a mistake now and again; everyone does at some point.
♪ I prefer to roleplay as a female character. The only instance in which I will play a male character is if we are doubling up (meaning we both play as a male and female character), though I generally prefer not to double up.
♫ My characters vary in age, but usually stick in the 16-23 year old range (high school/college/young adult), but I can go as old as 25-27 if necessary.
♪ I write using third person narrative, meaning I use “she/her” or “he/him” and not “I” or “you” in any given response.

What I expect from you:

♪ Replying around once a week is fine. If this doesn’t work with you, I am willing to extend the time for this from anywhere between once per two weeks to once per month.
♫ Please be able to write at least 5-6 well-written sentences per character post. You can write as much as you want above that, though try not to go overboard. I understand the desire to describe every detail, but no one really needs nor wants to read a whole paragraph on what the temperature is.

Proper Detail Example:
XXX ✗Sammy ran. He missed his chance. He sat down.
Think about this: How did Sammy run? Where was he running to? What chance did he miss? Was there any emotion?
XXX ✓After realizing what time it was, Sammy pulled over and leapt from his car, breaking into a dead sprint towards the restaurant. Now knowing, perhaps too late, that his car would be of little use amongst the crowded city streets. To make up for lost time, though it was against his better nature, he ignored the protests of the people he none so gently shoved aside in his haste. Unfortunately, by the time he finally reached Per Se, it was already 4:27. Glancing around the room, he failed to see hide nor hair of Laura. Biting his lip, he held on to his last bit of hope as he approached the hostess. “Have you seen a woman come in here by herself, around my age, with shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes?” A sort of pitying look crossed the hostess’ face as she replied,” I’m sorry sir. I do recall seeing a woman like that here earlier; however, she left over an hour ago if I’m not mistaken.” He despondently thanked her for her time as he left the building, plopping down on a nearby bench. He couldn't believe he just missed the date he'd been dreaming of since he first met Laura three months prior.

♪ Your post doesn’t need to be fancy, but I do require that you do not write using vibrant/bright colors, or use multiple colors in each sentence. You also need to keep your information organized and write using a legible font. I.e. nothing below 85, or greater than regular font size, for your response. Heading sizes can be larger, but 150 for a text post title might be overdoing it.
♫ Please have good grammar. I understand the pains of autocorrect, as well as typing on a small screen such as a tablet or phone, but this cannot happen in every post. Further, I do expect every post to have varying sentence length, correct sentence structure, and proper use of other basic grammar skills.
♪ I’d prefer if you were able/willing to play a male character, but you at least need to be fine with doubling up (and actively playing both characters to the full extent of your abilities).
♫ I’m okay with you writing in third-person or first-person, but unless absolutely necessary I will not accept any writing using second-person.
