@galaxy valid!!!! and yess i love noah kahan’s music and the thought of how the lover had a family beforehand but lost them due to the twoleg cats and is now hopelessly in love with someone else. and it’s like. being caught between these two where he feels that moving on would feel like a betrayal but knowing that he wouldn’t be hated for that. it’s sooo. (honestly also considered something from lizzy mcalpine - all my ghosts or hate to be lame but i settled with view between villages bc it just sorta Fits)

on the surface, fennelglow truly does seem to glow with warmth. she's friendly and bubbly, always going out of her way
to care for those in need. she's a good listener, seeming to know exactly what to say and making sure to remember little
details. for her loved ones, she'd do anything to see them succeed, even at her own cost. towards everyone else, she's
generally quite cordial, but it's not like she has a pure heart of kindness. she'll hold a grudge to her grave, and when it's
necessary, she can be quite conniving, almost manipulative. if she knows what she wants, she does what she needs to
get it, often involving a bit of sweet-talk and flattery. naturally, since she knows herself to be capable of bending trust,
she finds it difficult to form deep relationships. some call her shallow and fake, but to her, that's just how the world is.
despite her demeanor, she's not naive at all and she knows how harsh reality can be.

fennelglow isn't fully clanborn ─ her father was a respected warrior named briarheart, while her mother, thistle, was a
loner. the clan permitted thistle to raise her kits in the clan's nursery with the understanding that once they were of age
to become apprentices, she would have to leave and never return. briarheart became distant after her mother left, and
fennelglow went through her medicine cat apprenticeship with a lingering feeling of bitterness. but with time, she found
her place in the clan, and came to understand that moonlitclan's aversion to outsiders was yet another one of the many
traditions she would have to respect as a member, and now medicine cat, of the clan.

spiderfang is easy-going and carefree. it's hard to get him to take anything seriously. he enjoys joking around and playing
pranks, even on patrols, and negativity just seems to bounce off his skin. he's resilient because of this ─ nothing really
gets to him, because it's not as if he was that invested in the first place. anyways, if on the rare occasion something does
bother him, he won't let it show. sometimes he can go a bit far and come off as insensitive, but he usually doesn't have
malicious intent, and he knows when to apologize and make amends. in the end, he has a good and empathetic heart. he
always tries his best to keep others happy and comfortable, although he's a bit awkward when it comes to being serious.

born to ashenspark and dapplecloud, spiderfang grew up as a member of moonlitclan. he's lived a relatively normal life,
other than having a delayed warrior ceremony. certain antics of his lead to injury, namely, he fell out of a tree, leaving
him grounded in the medicine cat den for almost a whole moon. he has a permanently crooked tail and poor balance
for it, but he still received his warrior name at fifteen moons. his suffix, fang, denotes his prowess in battle. while he'd
rather resolve disputes with words, spiderfang is a formidable enemy, with unexpected strength and skill.
