Powers:Poison gas generation/ miasma emission. When activated, a mustard yellow, translucent toxic gas is emitted through her breath and pores and, at absolute worst, has similar effects to chlorine gas (effectively dissolving/ corrosively attacking the lungs). However, after spending weeks teaching herself how to control it, she has full autonomy over its potency and toxicity, now managing to stabilize it at a level that will just cause her victims to pass out or experience temporary blindness. However, this power can often cause her to be prone to asthma attacks with too much use at high toxicity proven to cause further damage to her lungs.
Personality:An incredibly hard worker, Rosie's main goal is to make enough money to help her father upgrade his workshop and give back some of time and effort he spent to raise her. In terms of her powers, she views them as a curse, resenting having to deal with such a destructive ability and cursing the harm it has done. When it comes to other people, she has an underling fear of harming them so often talks like she's walking on eggshells and may not be the most honest when it comes to expressing opinions- going with what she thinks people want to hear instead of her actual opinions.
History: Rosie was the only child to a single dad, never having much money and always seeming to only just scrape by with the mechanic job her dad held down. She never knew where her mother went, often dreaming as a child that she was some kind of actress or spy, her father never seeming to have the heart to tell her the truth until much later.
Having her powers develop in early childhood, she had been sleeping next to the family dog when, in a nightmare, her powers activated by instinct and began filling the entire room with thick mustard gas. The dog unfortunately didn't make it and her father had only just been able to slip on a gas mask and get out before it reached him. After that night, her father swore secrecy and spent weeks and months training Rosie in the dead of night- spending months of home-schooling and holidays to make sure she had control over her abilities and wasn't going to set them off inside a crowded classroom by accident.
Allowed to attend the last years of middle school and graduate to high, she felt isolated from the rest of groups as everyone seemed to know their place whilst she was left in the dust. thankfully, come high school, she managed to make a few friends but was always nervous when inviting them over, afraid that she may cause them harm.
