physical attributes arthur is a young man with lightly tanned skin and dirty blonde hair. he's tall and quite skinny to add onto that. in fact, arthur is a bit underweight as he doesn't eat all that much. because of this he tries to wear baggier clothing to try and hide the fact that he's lanky. in all actuality he'd lose at a fight real fast. none of this is quite as interesting as his scarecrow form however. at night when he changes back into being a scarecrow arthur has a drastic change in appearance! his body changes into one large dark gray cloth bag filled with sand and hay in the shape of a human form. certain areas are all tied of with black string. the neck, his shoulders, elbows, wrists, and each notch on his fingers. then where his thighs meet his hips, his knees, and ankles. he has no facial features and thus is mute. the boy covers his head and upper body with an old, worn down, raggedy cloth hoodie, and he wears jeans.

personality just from his appearance arthur looks to be the bad boy type, which is mostly true of his character. while he is very outgoing and friendly towards most, as well enjoys time spent around people, this boy is definitely one for trouble! always with a playful smirk or mischievous grin gracing his face, arthur tends to have to tricks up his sleeve to mess with others. from the heart he is truly a prankster who knows no bounds in bringing hell into other, unsuspecting people's lives. from minor inconveniences like being tripped, to an elaborate theft of a purse, arthur likes to see how far he can go without getting caught! of course, what's a little fun without someone to by your side? it isn't uncommon for arthur to ask others to join in on his meddlesome mischief, and bring them down with him if he ever gets caught. being this prankster type arthur is also one for jokes! he much enjoys some good banter with those he finds to be his friends, or even strangers for that matter! he can be sarcastic and witty when he wants to be, especially in serious situations as it can be his way of coping. honestly it's as though he has no filter from his brain to his mouth! this can very much be a downside of this young lad, causing him to be blunt and straightforward at times, even when he doesn't mean to be. this can cause trouble with his relationships as his frank way of speaking can hurt other peoples feelings, quickly causing him to feel regretful and guilty for his actions. in return he'll try to make things up any way possible as he doesn't want to lose a friend. he sort of has a fear of being alone and abandoned. he does try his best to be a better guy around those close to him, actively trying to remember to not be insensitive or too much of a pest. arthur is curious by nature and often has questions to ask about people and the world around him. while he might not look it, he enjoys a good bit of philosophy and deep thinking. he always finds it so interesting how the world works, especially the laws of nature. why do humans act the way they do? why do animals act strangely before natural disasters? why does moss only grow on the north side of trees? arthur loves a good conversation with people about almost anything and everything. he enjoys getting to know people. sometimes he takes the information he learns about a person and puts them to use, whether good or bad that depends on if he likes them or not. now, arthur does have a bit of a dark side that shines through every now and then. it's a side of him that comes to life when he's been severely wronged by someone. it's dark and cold, uncaring of people and his own actions. this side seeks out revenge and will go to many lengths to get it. it's not a side he's very proud of, though he doesn't actively try to hide it.

physical attributes brooke is on the smaller and thinner side. she's quite scrawny and looks as if she could use a few cheeseburgers to beef her up, though she can actually down a double patty burger fairly quickly. her skin is fair and she has a few beauty marks here and there, specifically one on the right side of her neck, a few along her arms and back, and a light toned birthmark on her left thigh in the shape of a splotch, though it's barely noticeable as she is fairly pale. she also tends to cut her nails quite short as she's often using her hands in work so they break easily. not one for make-up she may use a touch of eyeliner and eye shadow every now and then. her hair is usually shoulder length and either down or in a ponytail, sometimes she'll get fancy and braid it. ooh

quirks brooke has a deep seated fear of needles. she's had a few bad encounters with needles in her lifetime, such as accidentally pricking herself multiple time while sewing, she hates having shots ever since she was little, and got blood drawn once and passed out. brooke also has a dislike for the ocean. she doesn't like how it's dark, deep, and unexplored. what could be down there waiting in the darkness? cthulhu, megaladon, poseidon? this sounds like space, however she will debate that space is different from the ocean, when it really isn't. brooke is an avid reader of anything and everything. from dr. seuss to self help books, to the theories on the meaning of life, she loves to read anything anywhere. with mouse, in a house, or a chair. she tends to have a book on her most of the time. finally, brooke is a major nature lover! she loves to be out in nature whether it be blazing hot or freezing cold. enjoys star or cloud gazing, gardening, hiking, or just chilling in a tree.

growing up brooke's family moves around quite a bit due to her mother's job in the military. every few years her family would settle in a new place where brooke would make friends, find her place, and settle in before being ripped up from her new home and shuttled off to a new one sometimes all the way across the country. for a while it was hard a brooke as she never had constant friendships, most not lasting after she moved. without any siblings to play with brooke often found herself outdoors chatting away with whatever creatures were around from bug to birds to the neighbors dog. she found solace in nature, as it's something that seemed to stay constant wherever she went. while it became easier each time she moved, brooke still found herself yearning for human friendship. she managed to find this one summer with another girl who's family also moved around due to her fathers job as a business man. even after brooke moved away the two girls kept in contact, often video chatting or texting with each other. brooke was happy to have a friend. around her early teen years brooke's parents divorced. her father couldn't handle moving around so much and being unable to hold a steady job because of it. it was mutual and there was no animosity between her parents. brooke's father took custody of her and they moved to oregon where brooke spent the rest of her teenage years.
