Ace's real name is Karen Quinn. Not that anyone would know. She hasn't handled the apocalypse well. Ace doesn't talk about her history, or her feelings - that is, until she's screaming at you at four am, unloading every piece of life trauma she's ever had. Ace is scared to death of turning 20. She's scared of the outside, she's scared of the dead people who roam the streets. She's scared of everything and she hides it under a mask of absolute indifference and recklessness. She's a hard person to get to know, because she doesn't care about you. Ace doesn't care about much, besides making it to the next meal. If you manage to break through, underneath all her bluster and her indifference is just a pure lightning bolt of fear. There's love and loyalty in there too, past the fear. Ace wants to be loved, but her fear holds her back from any true connection. Her mutation is the gift of accelerated healing, a power that doesn't help her reckless nature. She's the first into a building, because she knows that even the deepest wound will normally heal itself in a day or so. Ace's power lets her heal small wounds within a couple minutes, and large ones within a couple days. She will experience a lack of energy when healing more aggressive injuries, but sustains no lasting damage.

Ace was born to a happy couple, who soon became an unhappy couple and split up shortly after Ace's 7th birthday. She spent her childhood bouncing from house to house, sleeping on a queen sized bed at her mom's and a mattress in the garage at her dad's. She was at her mom's house when the world started to unravel. It wasn't long before she ran, trying desperately to get to the imagined safety of her dad's home. By the time she got there, it was too late. She found the group a couple years ago, after spending rough nights on the floor of an abandoned mall. A group seemed like the best bet for survival, and Ace was tired of sleepless nights. She doesn't get much more sleep here, but she's gained something close to a family. Maybe the closest thing she's ever had.

Little character relations - if you have any suggestions or wanna plot, lemme know!

Aries - Ace has never felt more loyalty. Aries gave
her a home - a life. Aries makes her angry sometimes,
too stubborn and optimistic to see the terrible truth of
the world. But Ace owes Aries her life, and will never
forget it.

Marley - Marley's fine. Ace sees her as a little whiny.
Yes, the world is hard. It's hard for everyone. Marley
seems to have some sort of issue with Aries, which
means that Ace has an issue with Marley.

Cujo - Ace has a tiny bit of a soft spot for Cujo. He's
just so.. vulnerable. She makes sure she keeps him
out of trouble for the most part, keeping an eye on
him when she can. She's never really talked to him,
honestly, and Ace isn't sure if he knows she exists.
But she tries to look out for him.

Minnie - She annoys Ace. She's never done anything
directly to her, but Ace isn't about her sense of humor.
To be fair, it isn't Minnie's fault.

Anny - Ace is sure the girl isn't as tough as she lets on.
She doesn't really know a lot about her, and doesn't
care to find out more.

Damien - Ace actually kind of likes Damien. He's not
stupid, and he's not soft. She's got a plan to work
together with him. If he can take away pain from an
injured party and give it to her, she can heal it quicker.
It's just a matter of convincing the medic it's a good idea.

Jiyeon - Ace doesn't like her, and has absolutely no
legitimate reason to feel this way. Maybe it's the way
Jiyeon babies her brother. It doesn't matter. Ace
is pretty hostile towards her.

Shin - As far as Ace is concerned, Shin is useless.
No power, no job. He's just another mouth to feed.

Caspia - She's a good second in command, but the
fact that she runs herself dry and ends up in the
med bay makes Ace annoyed. She tends to stay away
from Caspia.

Nova - She fine. Ace doesn't really care about getting
past whatever exterior Nova has up, but she's sure the
girl isn't as stoic as she pretends to be.

Percy - Ace can't stand Percy. He's loud and annoying and drives her crazy.

Atlas - Ace likes him way better than his brother. She
is very wary of his telepathic abilities, but his personality
isn't so bad. She's not close to him, and she doesn't want
to be, but she doesn't hate him.

Tripp - That kid is something different. He's not scared, which
confounds Ace. He's a good worker too, smart and loyal. She
genuinely likes Tripp, although he confuses her.
