Appearance:
- Robber is a plump, black-feathered dove with burgundy, iridescent patches on his wings. He has a prominent white throat and chest, and smaller, white streaks over his black eyes. Robber's beak is grey, and his legs and feet are dark peach.
Personality:
- Robber is terribly self-important. He sees himself as deserving of respect and justified in all he does, so he is certainly not the sort to apologize, or even notice when he has an area of improvement to address. Instead, he tends to be bossy, and boastful. Robber naturally sees himself in a place of authority and will be quick to take charge of a situation when there is no clear leader. If there is any question as to who is in charge of things, Robber will notice and try to take control himself. He is charismatic, and has little trouble with first impressions. Some birds genuinely respect him as an authority figure and are grateful for the guidance he offers. Others might see through his facade and see him as nothing more than a clumsy, squawking dove with more ego than sense.
- For the past few years, Robber has spent his time in the sanctuary as the unofficial, self-proclaimed "leader" of the forest area, and actually managed to become quite popular among the more peaceful species. Larger, predatory birds that could be a threat to Robber were seen as ruffians in his eyes, but seeing as they were kept separated, he never really had to worry about them. Then, everything changed when the humans fled in the face of a massive earthquake, and the barriers that had kept everyone safe broke down. Robber is trying his best to keep some semblance of control, but he is painfully aware of the peril he finds himself in.

Appearance: Moth is a sleek, black bird with a large, prominent, curved, ivory-colored bill. This bill has an impressive casque atop it that is also ivory in color, as is the skin of her bare patches around her eyes and under her chin. Moth's eyes are deep black, and her square-shaped tail is also ivory, matching her beak.
Personality: In all things, Moth is unafraid of effort. She is brimming with determination to achieve her goals one way or another. Moth believes that she will eventually succeed if she just tries hard enough, or finds the right method. This can make her a valuable ally who will pull her own weight and then some, but she can also be quite stubborn when her ideals clash with another bird's. The trick is gaining her loyalty first to avoid butting heads over decisions later.
Background: Moth used to be a staff favorite at the sanctuary. Her antics were a source of endless amusement, and her cleverness and determination made her enjoyable to work with. She was quite tame towards the humans, and had learned several behaviors that made caring for her easier. Moth always thought she would have a comfortable life in the sanctuary, but then the earthquake hit, setting loose the predatory birds and chasing away her human allies. Moth has recurrent nightmares about it, even as she works towards freedom and survival during the day.
