Name: Aurelio "Aury" Moretti

Age: 17

Sexuality: Straight, but questionably so.

Personality: Aurelio is a very timid young man. He gets nervous around other people if he doesn't know them well, and gets socially exhausted pretty easily. His ideal number of people to hang out with is three. Despite being painfully quiet and reserved, Aury is very sweet and thoughtful of those he trusts. He remembers things like birthdays, and always seems to know the perfect gift. If he knows you like craft festivals, he'll be sure to point out every craft festival that comes to town.

Appearance: Most of Aurelio's clothes are hand-me-downs from his dad. He wears a lot of blacks, greys, and whites, with little color mixed in. A lot of his clothes features skulls and skeletons, the theme of his father's band, The Dreaming Dead. Having grown up around this style, Aurelio has come to embrace it. He can even be seen experimenting with black nail polish or eyeliners.

Body wise, Aurelio is tall and lanky. He is 6'2", and still waiting on one last growth spurt. His skin is pale with an olive undertone, and his eyes are dark brown. Aurelio's hair is a very dark brown, and often messy. He experiments with how to wear it a lot, like flat ironing it or putting gel in it. But most of the time, it seems to do as it pleases. Aurelio was also gifted with early facial hair. He keeps it trimmed pretty neatly. Aury has a faded scar across his throat. He won't disclose much about it other than he got it in a car accident, and that it's the reason he doesn't talk.

Other: Aurelio is a functional mute. While he can talk, scaring in his throat and vocal cords make it uncomfortable, and if he does it a lot, he loses his voice entirely for a while. He's been this way since before he moved into town. He mostly communicates via sign language, and really only talks out loud when he has to. His voice, a gravely, guttural sound that can barely raise above a whisper, is straight out of a horror movie and usually frightens people when they first hear it.

The internal scarring on his throat also makes it difficult for him to swallow solid food. For the most part, Aury lives on a diet of smoothies, protein shakes, pudding, and custard-like textures. His poor nutritional intake probably attributes to his thin build.

What Aurelio lacks in a voice, he makes up for in music skills. He seems to have inherited his father's talent, and can pick notes out from a tune by ear and replay it. Having lots of a free time and a big house full of instruments, Aurelio has taught himself how to play several different things. He has mastered the guitar, can play the keyboard, piano, base, and dabbles with the mandolin and autoharp. Most of these were just things his dad left laying around.

History:

Most of his friends enjoy rebelling against their parents, meanwhile, Aurelio just wishes he had parents. His dad was a very popular punk singer from the seventies and eighties. His mother was a groupie. His mother was unfit to raise children, so Aury's father was saddled with taking care of him. This usually consisted of him being dumped off on stage managers and other groupies. Aurelio actually saw very little of his father in his childhood. He was, instead, raised by punkrockers who really had no business being anywhere near a child.

Aurelio's father finally began to lose popularity and began to fade into the background of the music world. This was around the time of Aury's injury, which forced him to settle down a bit to take care of his son. He bought a large house and actually hung around for a couple years. Aury figures that was mostly from guilt. Whatever it was, it didn't last long. His father decided to go and re-kindle his career and took off again, leaving Aurelio alone at the house. Occasionally, money will appear in an envelope with no return address, but for the most part, Aurelio is on his own. He avoids disclosing his family background or home situation to anyone but his closest friends, because he doesn't want to be taken away and put into foster care.

Sassy yet generous, Brielle is a free-spirited female. She goes wherever she feels the wind leads her. An adventurous soul, she's naturally outgoing and can be quick to make friends with others. Before her no filtered mouth gets in the way. Though most of the time, she's very open-minded, along with that is an open mouth that says whatever comes to mind. It's gotten her into trouble at times, but she believes that honesty is key. She's a bubbly and fun-loving girl who loves a good time. And being from Ireland, she knows how to bring it. Her childlike attitude makes her lovable to those around her. With a great sense of humor, she can be quite a jokester as well. Likewise, her jokes, pranks and playful behavior can also get her into trouble as well. She's pretty much used to it, and doesn't mind it, considering it makes some hell of a story later on. She always strives to make someone's day. Her own day to be made as well is a huge bonus. Though being from Ireland also brings her the typical Irish short-temper. It takes a lot for her to get actually angry. When it happens, it scares people away quickly. She definitely finds it hard to be patient, that's one of her biggest issues. Plus the fact that she can be paranoid, and procrastinating.

Standing at five feet and six inches, Brielle has developed a slim build of 115. Though she's not like a wrestler, she has an unexpectedly large amount of muscle. Probably from all the work she would do around the farm back in Ireland. She is a natural red head, having born with a strawberry blonde hair. Though as the years went by, her hair darkened into a deep red. Recently, she had added blonde streaks to it, to give it a new yet unique change. However, when she gets mad, it seems to light up to the point where it looks like actual fire. Her eyes light up with a bright blue grey iris. With a fair complexion, her skin is a hard one to tan, considering she had always been on the lighter side.

Brielle had been born and raised in Waterford, Republic of Ireland. She had grown up with a big family, her childhood household consisting of her mother, father, two brothers, two younger sisters, and herself. Other family would always come to visit their home several times the year, and she got real close to the cousins around her age. A small town indeed, Brielle never paid attention to the whispers and gossip and would always go about doing her own things. While her family might've thought otherwise, she never cared about what others thought of her. With her and her group of friends, she had a good childhood. However, one day, things changed. With a surprise, her family just all of a sudden decided to leave the place and move on to America, of all places. But after so long of living there, she was upset. Though in some ways, it wasn't all bad. Because of her living in a small town and word goes around awful quickly, she felt confined in a way where she couldn't cause any trouble. Maybe now in America, she can actually have fun and be herself for once.
