UPDATE

W E A T H E R

we are nearing the end of the month of may. it is warm, about 26°C/78°F.
there are a few clouds drifting across the sky, but barely any breeze closer
to the ground. it's a rather nice day, good for taking a walk. it is around two pm.

powers:. Hydrokenisis, telepathy, teleportation (with limits, it takes a toll on her body, so she can usually only teleport herself, and a max of a mile or so.)

personality:. Jackie is very kind and sweet, with a very hyper and bubbly personality. She loves to talk, and would chat a brick wall to death, if such a thing were possible. She doesn't handle confrontation very well, and tries to avoid it altogether if possible. Jackie is also very empathic, and although she may not always be able to help solve everyone's troubles, she is willing to listen and give a smile to try and cheer everyone up.

history:. Jackie lived in a rather normal household, with her parents, younger brother Alex, and occasionally her cousin Roxanna. She went to public school and had friends like any normal girl. At the age of 13 she discovered her hydrokenisis by accident in the school bathroom, as she flung water off her hands and was reaching for a towel, the droplets hovered in midair before crashing to the ground. She kept it a secret, which was easy enough on a day-to-day basis, since she rarely lost her temper (which seems to be the main way powers are revealed), but it became harder whenever she was around large amounts of water, such as the pool or ocean.

When she was 14 she discovered her second power, telepathy. This power lead her to be revealed as a humanoid to her cousin Roxanna, the one she had communicated with telepathically. Roxanna promised to keep her secret, but warned her it may be the best for her family if she leave. Jackie disagreed, stating that her family loved her enough to keep her secret.

Another year passed without incident, until one day Jackie was almost kidnapped at the movie theater. She escaped, but in the process revealed to her parents that she was a humanoid, due to teleporting away from her kidnappers. Her parents were devastated, knowing that the law enforcement would not allow them to keep their daughter, but above all else they feared for the safety of everyone, Jackie included. Jackie talked with them extensively about it, and they agreed to keep Jackie as long as they could.

A year later Jackie was at the beach with her family, and saved her little brother, Alex, from drowning. But she used her hydrokenisis to do it, catching the attention of Peacekeepers who were also at the beach. After some urging from Roxanna, Jackie ran, to protect herself and her family.

in v.1 we had jazmine find her, but I've got jaz tied up right now with other characters, so that may not happen for a while. you could either have someone else find her, or just have her already with the lost kids?
