= ramsey c. a drastic change from the older sister, obviously, however, she harbors no hard feelings toward the younger verano. in fact, she sees a little bit of her sister in her- in the confident, tall way she carries herself.

+ grace q. she adores her sister, absolutely. avyn only lets her walls down to welcome her, and appreciates her sincerity and selflessness, as opposed to her own sense of vanity. she enjoys her liveliness, the grace she holds herself with. however, avyn is tainted with a small portion of jealousy towards her sister, for her natural ability to attract others to her. they share a distinct history, coming from different mothers; grace, according to avyn's hateful mother, is an illegitimate child who has no right to reside in the blossoms' castle, nor that snakelike concubine who worked herself into the king's heart.
- herself she's an actress (a fake), though it's the only lifestyle she's known and bothered with; she puts herself on a pedestal, thinking herself on a different level than others.

= zoe s. cute girl, timid girl; seems easy to intimidate. she only knows her by what the other royals say of her, vaguely.
= marilyn s. she imagines, if she wasn't like this, she'd be a girl like marilyn. so you could say, she's jealous of her; endearing and quiet and brimming with intelligence. it's a mix of jealousy and admiration, really; avyn looks at her, even though marilyn's her junior, as a better.

- iskra d. m. she finds this girl like her in many ways, however, it does not mean she takes to her readily; she's cautious around her, not quite sure what to make of this girl, knowing they probably think in like manner.

= micah s. she doesn't know him well, granted they haven't spoken to each other. she knows him by what she's heard on the rumor mill, though hopes to meet him soon and establish some sort of relationship with him? he's a curiosity to her at this point.
+ hugo s. he's different from the others, she can tell by one glance of his smile, more careless than his brothers and most royals. and she should know- out of the serpentine brothers, she's spent the most time with this one. they had a thing -you could say- once upon a dream, however broken off before due time. she likes him still, but ignores the feeling for the sake of the selection at hand. they're good friends now; she very much enjoys his presence and competing with him.
= deigo k. s. she hadn't much time to explore his character, though at first glance, she finds him a quiet individual, maybe artsy; she's heard something about his temper along the train of rumors floating around, maybe it'd be fun to see how easily he'll take offense. she also likes his art, knowing he comes with power to lend him visions of dreams.
= ronan s. he always walks around like he's got a weight on his shoulders he can't force off. she's not sure what to make of him, but feels like she can relate on some level, in that she's putting up a mask for others.
= welsey s. she made a mistake once, talking to wesley on a bad day. upon meeting, he had become entranced by her, though her spell seems to have worn off. she's wanting to make amends, though wary of afterwards.

to put it lightly, wes is a gentleman.... literally. he's the type of guy who saves spiders and says things to make people smile. there's definitely a delicate side to wes, one not common in his family, which perhaps started the rumors about his lineage. anyway, wes is delicate, but not sensitive. he's delicate in the sense that he's careful not to step on people's feelings, or to accidentally insult them or offend others in any form. he's always polite, mannerly, and very well put together.
while he might be orderly from an outward perspective, wesley is really very fed up. his benevolent nature tends to lend a hand in any situation, but it's gotten him into trouble before. he's always looked down upon, easily taken advantage of, and other thought of as the "weak" prince. truthfully, he's very strong hearted and determined to always be his best self, but that's growing to be more of a challenge than it has been in the past. if caught too overwhelmed with life, wes can become reclusive, distant, and even sharp-tongued. but only on his bad days. most of the time, wes is very welcoming and is comfortable in large ballrooms as well as with a few good friends. he's not exuberantly social, but enjoys small talk and does it oh so well.
wesley's biggest issue has to be his dishonesty with himself and others about how he's really feeling. he usually brushes things off when other's ask how he's doing, but it's becoming unhealthy. he needs someone kind and compassionate like him, but also bold enough to tell him to take care of himself from time to time too. wesley enjoys horseback riding, sailing and painting.

so a little bit on wes here.
wes is a butterfly child. he's gentle, always
tries to be kind and considerate of others,
and keeps and eye on everyone else's feelings,
except his own. while he's very tolerant of
others' mistakes, wes can be pretty hard on
himself and is very critical of his own actions.
he doesn't feel very successful, and is so vastly
different from his "brothers". rumors appeared
a few years ago, but they've recently started
taking more of an effect on wes, especially with
all the buzz created by this selection. many do
not believe that he's a legitimate prince, and
that has hurt his self esteem immensely. wesley
has a difficult time opening up and being honest
about how he feels, so those emotions can get
bottled up and come out in nasty ways, mostly
when wes gets overwhelmed. he can be reclusive,
where he'll shut himself in his room for most of the
time and rarely come out, or he can be bitter and
cynical and just horrid to be around. he needs a
good chat from now and then and for someone to
stubbornly pry him open so he lets all of those bad
feelings out. he's the kindest prince, but others do
forget that even he needs help sometimes.

micah shields [ neu ] wes doesn't really have a very good relationship with his
oldest brother. anyone would say that they barely know each other. while they are
distant most of the time, there have been a few rare occasions where they've been
good for one another. whenever micah gets to be a little rough around the edges,
wes is the one to call him out, but gently. wes isn't afraid to tell micah when he's
being inconsiderate, rude or blunt. likewise, micah has helped guide wes whenever
wes is a pushover. micah seems to defend wesley when he really needs it, but its a
very protective relationship, nothing much more.

hugo shields [ pos ] wes' lighthearted nature and occasional goofy behavior
does lift wesley's spirits. wes loves hugo and thinks he's has good intentions. wes
always enjoys a laughing and sailing with hugo, along with other activities.

deigo shields [ pos ] deigo and wesley have a very cute brotherly relationship.
diego is sensitive enough to appreciate wesley, so wes often hangs out with his brother.
they enjoy painting together, and can spend hours in each other's company, most of
the time not even talking, just being together seems to comfort them both.

emmery rustova [ neg ] one of the few members of court that wesley cannot
handle is the fiery emmery, the eldest princess of verano. she seems brutish, volatile,
unpredicatble and hot-tempered. he really doesn't think he could handle talking to
her, let alone any idea of marrying her. he tries to avoid her, as he thinks its best. he
doesn't believe he could show her true kindness, as he believes she really did kill her
sister in coldblood, she certainly has the temperament for such a crime.

ramsey creed [ neu ] wes doesn't know much about ramsey, but he'd like to.
she seems very charismatic indeed. she's reckless but is still concerned about facing
consequences. he thinks she's got spunk, but he also is worried that she might do
something reckless to jeopardize herself or endanger herself. wesley has a few wise
words to offer her, but he also doesn't feel like it's his place to speak to her.

avyn queens [ pos/neg ] at first glance, wes fell for avyn's endearing spell.
she seemed completely perfect for him, and he followed her like a lost puppy. but
he quickly realized she was not as gentle and considerate as he would have hoped.
now that she's back in court, he's curious to see if she'll be more agreeable, as he
thinks her very beautiful, but is careful not to get stepped on by her insensitive
attitude, which would quickly turn him away from her forever.

grace queens [ pos ] her gentle personality and flawless beauty has defiantly
captured the prince's attention. she's funny and lively, but she's also kind hearted.
while she seems perfect at first, wes has discovered that she can be sharp-tongued
and blunt, which doesn't agree with him at all, but he'll wait and see how grace
behaves in court rather than listen to rumors.

zoe snow [ pos ] althought they are just met, wesley has a very good first
impression of the frozen princess. she doesn't seem very skilled socially, which he
thinks is undeniably cute. she seems innocent, pure of heart, and a generally good
person, which attracts wesley like a bee to honey. he is compelled to protect her
from to inherit dangers of court, and upholds her honor above any other lady.
however, he's aware of her admiration of his older brother, deigo, which makes
wes insanely jealous, and has caused spite between wes and deigo.

iskra dei mori [ neu ] wes is cautious around iskra. she can be very stimulating
to talk to, but he feels its just a facade, how very smooth she is. she's got a quick
tongue, and he sees that she lies often. he thinks she's hiding some things about
herself, as she is very defensive and private about her personal life. he doesn't trust
her, but is curious to get to know her better, but is also careful not to overstep.
in small talk, she's very polite and interesting, but her talk is very shallow and
offers very little insight to who she really is.
