History: Darkstorm was born in a litter of 3, to Clan warriors Thistlefoot and Briarheart. Both were exceptional warriors, but were more suited to performing warrior duties than parenthood; both cats loved their 3 kits dearly, but were happiest when out patrolling and hunting. So the three siblings bonded all the more strongly; rarely has there been littermates closer to each other than Cloudkit, Reedkit, and Dark-kit were. Even when it came time to be apprenticed, and Reedkit (now Reedpaw) chose the path of a medicine cat rather than a warrior like his two siblings, the three were inseparable. When Darkpaw and Cloudpaw heard of their brother's sudden death one leaf-bare morning, they were devastated; a fox had attacked Reedpaw and the Clan medicine cat while they were out gathering what herbs they could find. Darkpaw and Cloudpaw had sat vigil for their brother the entire night, and when morning dawned and it came time to bury him, both apprentices insisted on doing it themselves. Supervised by a warrior, they did just that, and the night they both became warriors they were permitted to sit their vigil by their brother's grave once more. Time healed the siblings, but it's never been the same since, though it has made Darkstorm and Cloudheart all the more protective of each other and their Clan with a specific hatred and fear of foxes.
Personality: A somewhat standoffish tom, Darkstorm may be considered intimidating at first to those who do not know him well, though he is a gentle and caring cat towards his Clanmates. To outsiders and rival Clans, however, he shows a noticeable distaste and is quick to become hostile at a moment's notice. As stated, he has a particular loathing for foxes, and is aggressively protective of his Clan, the territory they control, and his littermate Cloudheart. Darkstorm has a particular soft spot for kits, and has been known to prioritize tending to the nursing queens in the nursery, always making sure they have fresh bedding and plenty to eat, especially in leaf-bare when prey is scarce.

Cloudheart's early life started with promise; she had two fantastic brothers whom she loved dearly, and a mentor that was like a mother to her. Cloudheart's (Cloudpaw, at the time) mentor, Robinpelt, saw the potential in Cloudpaw; she was a fast learner, and quickly overtook her brother in both battle training and hunting. The death of her brother Reedpaw greatly impacted her training, however. Cloudpaw's enthusiasm was greatly diminished for several moons, but eventually came back with a vengeance that surprised even Robinpelt. When it came time for Cloudpaw's warrior assessment, the apprentice passed with flying colors, and was made a warrior that night. After sitting vigil alongside her brother Darkstorm and another apprentice, Cloudheart maintained a close relationship with her former mentor until the now-elderly she-cat's recent battle with greencough, which she did not live through, much to Cloudheart's devastation.

She shares her brother's distaste for foxes, though has a more relaxed attitude towards loners, kittypets, and rouges than her brother does. Cloudheart's demeanor is overall fairly cheerful and relaxed, though she has been known to have a quick temper when agitated and is fairly ambitious.
