say hi to demetrix, or demi for short. this boy is a nonchalant sweetie whos innate sweet tooth is the bane of his existence. amiable and naive, he appears to uphold a collection of childish ideals whilst in actuality he is able to understand concepts far beyond his shallow exterior. his oblivion to the given situation can be perceived as ignorance or uplifting; depending on the person. he has an unsatisfiable love for sweets and a consistent easy-going persona. his greatest fear is that of solitude. demi relies on human relations and communications, and is viciously afraid of the dark and isolation. don't ever leave demi behind; ever.

demi has always had a fragile heart and strong emotions, but in his youth, he was a shallow, empty boy. with little to fight for but survival; in times that sustainability was a distant memory. detached and monotonous, he had been one of the only ones unaffected by the death of his parents by the bloody hands of the militia, at the fruitful age of 10. and from then on, he traveled alone. because independence was something he could rely on; the only thing he could rely on. by 15, he willingly accepted the scientist's experimental requests. however, whether it was his genetics or another aspect, demi experienced severe pains and hallucinations throughout the duration, more so than the other subjects. this resulted in the gradual reduction of clarity in his memories, and to this day, his past has become an indistinct blur. all he knows is that isolation had been his constitution; and he doesn't want that. he doesn't want to be alone again.

liquid manipulation is his supernatural ability. skilled in weaponry from his 'previous life'.

Ok, I've just made the first post, here's what's going on:

Day: Early morning, weather is overcast and cloudy.
Location: The scientist's laboratory is tucked away in a forest, which is a few miles from the nearest town. The characters themselves are in small, individual rooms within the labs.
What's happening: The characters will wake up alone to find a note on the table (see below). They are unfamiliar with their powers (since I thought it would be more interesting for them to develop and experiment with their new abilities, than instinctively know how to use them). They will all meet outside where their quest will begin.
What's happening next: If everyone else agrees, I think the characters should make their way to a city or something to stock up on supplies and weapons. When they arrive, they could get into a fight with some Militia, where they could first experience their powers? Also, they could capture one of the Militia and force them to give away the location of the Tyrant's hideaway? Just a rough idea, please do make suggestions!

i like the idea of conflict with the milita in the city, but perhaps we could have some internal conflict early on too? demi's a pretty naive guy so he's not particularly mistrustful, but im not too sure abut the other characters ;u;
maybe later on in the rp, some of them could get captured instead and the others would have to help them out, or the whole bunch could get captured for interrogation, or perhaps the tyrant could create supernatural humans himself as a second antagonist.

just a couple of ideas that came to mind while i was asleep haha. i'll get a reply up asap!!
