Personality;;

Though she may have her father's handsome looks, Flarepaw and Scorchstar are polar opposites. They disagree about everything... and Flarepaw simply does dangerous stunts and runs away from camp occasionally just to irk DesertClan's leader. She thinks she's better than everyone else, and acts high and mighty, cocky, and aloof.. though, in some ways, she can be lazy and demanding of others. Her attitude is fiery, and she can go from smiling to baring her teeth in a heartbeat if you push her buttons enough.
She also constantly seeks adventure and dangerous things.. she loves adrenaline and will take on just about any dare. Once she held her tongue against a cactus while trying to recite the warrior code (that one nearly severed her tongue), and another time she tried to pry off a scorpion's stinger while in some sort of a dance off with it!
All in all, this oriental shorthair really just wants attention and Scorchstar's love. She doesn't have very much parental guidance, which is partly the reason why she's so boisterously rebellious and ready for any dare thrown her way. She didn't know her mother, as she'd died just after she was born, and her father is always so busy with Clan work.. Flarepaw's way of viewing things is that, "the more trouble I get myself into, the more my father will pay attention to me." And by great StarClan it works! Scorchstar's always pestering her and trying to keep her from running off and dragging her pals into trouble. Underneath all her smart-mouthing, sarcasm, and snappy demeanor, though, all she desires is affection.

There isn't a ton to say here about Flarepaw.. she's grown up in the Clan and has never dreamed of leaving the desert. (Most of the things about her were added in her personality!)

Personality;;

Noeyes is a very patient individual. Having lost her eyes has taught her how to take things slow and be accepting and calm... she's a total sweetheart, and has a fond spot in her heart for kits. She'd always wanted some, but she'd never found the right male for her... every cat she'd ever spoken to turned her down or ignored her, which is partially the reason why, despite her perkiness, deep down Noeye's is sulky and miserable. The Russian blue is also a bit of a nature fanatic, and will exit the Oasis every morning and every evening to feel the cool dawn/ night air on her old bones. She doesn't let her arthritis get in her way of sitting outside of camp and thinking!
She rambles a bit and tells quite good tales though she has to sight, and is always one for a good joke.. she's always trying to make another laugh. She's loving and carefree, and often acts like a kitten, often forgetting how old she is. She's pretty confident in herself, but that doesn't mean her keen ears are deaf to the whispers some cats exchange about her..
History;;
She was born into DesertClan a year or so after it was formed, so she lived under Desert's rule for a short time. Noeyes was born without sight, and both of her parents thought that this was a bad omen from StarClan, that she should be disposed of or tossed to the coyotes.. but Desert stood up for her, and when Noeyes was six moons old, she was made medicine cat apprentice. The Russian blue was happy to have something to do with her life, but always felt saddened when she heard the other apprentices flirting or going off to train.. for she never would. When her mentor died, she became medicine cat of the Clan. Before she could choose a successor, though, she began to have crippling arthritis, and pain in her joints.. thus causing her to give up her position too soon and retire to the elders' den.
There, Noeyes felt even more morose! She was all by herself in the dusty den, and had no one to tell tales with or relate to! She's still a part of the Clan today, and has seen (well, not seen, really) many come and go in her lifetime. The young cats in the Clan today think her to be immortal.. that she'll outlive everyone. But Noeyes knows this is not the case. Someday, StarClan will call to her, and she can then go home.

Appearance ;; an extremely tall, petite tom with soft, velvety ebony fur and almond shaped turquoise eyes. blind.

Personality ;; batpaw is an independent cat. he prefers to lurk in the shadows away from most souls, and works alone more often than not. most of the time batpaw is quiet, but he will not tolerate stupidity, and will go off without any regret or remorse. he is also rather suspicious and easily triggered but hard to read, making him very difficult to work with. many cats avoid him altogether. if by some means his heart is earned, batpaw is a rather intelligent, intuitive, hardworking tom, doing the best he can for his clan without any complaints- his ailments are no excuse to him, and he hates it went many appear sympathetic of him. he is very innovative and uses his head- if anything, the blindness has sharpened his wits. the job will get done, and it will get done completely- no excuses. although he seems to be a selfish, pessimistic creature sometimes, his clan comes before all. he'd gladly sacrifice his life for them- they are his family, and that's what matters to him.

History: batpaw was found by a patrol at the desertclan border at 15 moons of age. he was covered in blood and already blind- malnourished and barely alive, but he'd somehow managed to find the clan. he refuses to speak on his past, and unfortunately, that refusal is still here today. [will rp out]

strengths ;; batpaw is an exemplary hunter. because of his ailment, he can hear extremely well, detecting many sounds that other warriors simply cannot, and hitting his targets with pinpoint accuracy. he also has good herb knowledge, is very diligent in his work, and has excellent taste, touch and smell. he is also very innovative, and can think of a solution to almost any problem. oh... and he never quits. ever.

weaknessess ;; batpaw doesn't fight well. in spite of his excellent hearing, he isn't perfect- he cannot detect his opponents movements in time to counter them. unless the cat uses all offensive/grappling moves in which batpaw can feel and hear them clearly, he is defenseless. he is also very anti-social, has quite a sharp tongue, and is very emotionally fragile. not to mention he is very vengeful.

On the topic of who shall be made deputy, I'll make a poll when we have eight more cats join that want the rank. We currently have Graywhisker and Thunderfur being the only cats that want to be deputy, so for now DesertClan will not have a second in command.
