Name;
"Sam Libri, simple as that."
Her name is Samantha Lauren Libri. Her first name means 'Listener', though her parents named her this name simply because she looked like a Samantha. Her middle name means 'Fierce', but her parents picked it out just because they like it. Her last name comes from a word 'liber', which means 'Free'. The surname itself comes from the golden era of Rome, when a lot of people were slaves, so having the surname 'Free' helped when picking out the leaders.
Nickname;
"People have called me a lot of nicknames, mostly things like Sami/Sammie/Sammy and other names ending up on 'ie's or 'y's. I don't really like those. I am and always will be Sam. Oh, and don't forget insults."
Just like Samantha has explained, people who don't even know her get to decide her nicknames without even asking her, and she isn't really fond of that.
Birthdate;
"My birthday is 13th of June, just before the summer shows up. It means I'm a Gemini, though I don't really think that Zodiacs are relevant, you know, in life."
She was also born in Brentwood, a city located a bit east from the fogs of London, though she has moved a lot.
Age;
"I'm currently 25 and a half."
She always says the full number or something-and-a-half. It just a habit.
Eye colour;
"Brown. And not a cool brown, with green freckles or blue lines. Chocolate brown, like 75% of people on Earth."
As she said, her eye colour is brown, and she isn't really satisfied with it. She doesn't have to wear corrective lenses. Her eyes are very expressive, you could know what she wants to say by just looking into her eyes.
Hair;
"My hair...oof, my hair. It is light brown and very thin. Even though it's just slightly wavy, it tangles easily. Mainly because there is a lot of it."
If Sam doesn't brush it twice a day, it turns into a big fat ball of mess. She never does anything with it, like curls it or straightens, because she doesn't see the point of that. She keeps it natural, sometimes pulls it up into a neat ponytail or a side-braid. Sometimes, on particularly lazy days, she makes a messy side ponytail, just to hide it.
Height, weight and body shape;
"I'm pretty average at everything."
Sam is a bit taller than average, actually. That's why she doesn't wear heels of any sort. She has normal weight, maybe a bit more than average, because she doesn't really exercise. Her body shape? Well, she is a kind of an ugly duckling at this one. She was as flat as a board until she was seventeen, then in one year, things changed drastically. She has an hourglass shape, though she has wide hip bones, giving her the pear-shape look.
Nationality and Accent;
"English. I have this weird Essex accent paired up with the London one... Not really as fancy as it looks."
Sam is English born and English raised, though her family and cousins come from all parts of Europe, most of them are from Germany, France and Italy. Although she has a British accent, she doesn't sound posh or street, it sounds natural. She can name a lot of accents, just something she picked up in university.
Religious orientation;
"I don't know... Kind of sort of Christian with Buddhist beliefs."
Sam was raised in a Roman Catholic family, her grandparents went to church every Sunday and prayed, so naturally she grew up a Christian. But as she grew up, she studied other religions and decided that she believes in Karma and the same amount of good and bad in the world. She was never an active believer like her grandparents because she doesn't really like people who lead the church. She thinks that more money should be donated to children in Africa, rather than making big churches.
Sexuality;
"I'm asexual. That has arisen a lot heads in High school. And Uni. I do like people, but not in a romantic way. I guess that my family history has a lot to do with that."
Sam was never loved, or at least she thinks so. Her mom may have loved her, but she didn't show it. Her dad was working all the time so she never saw him. She had no siblings. The only thing that broke the loneliness of her early days were her cousins from all over the world. That's how she learnt five, yes, five, languages during her childhood. English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. She perfected them from kindergarten since High School, and got into a university with ease. Somewhere around fourteen she noticed that she didn't like any of her classmates {as in have a crush}, male nor female. That's when she decided she was asexual.
Education background;
"School, High School, University, Music school and lot of courses, like drama and computer coding."
Since Sam didn't have a social life as a kid {everyone avoided her because of her sexual orientation}, she studied. She studied all the time she could. She knew how to read when she was four, and write when she was four and a half. She started music school, piano at the same time she went to regular school, so when she finished, she had no time killers, so she went to courses. If she could take a one-month or a one-year course she would. That includes languages, computers, and most of all, experiments. She loves experiments, and she was absolutely delighted with Physics, Chemistry and Biology in school. She finished School and High school with top of the class success in these three subjects and she decided to get a PhD in Physics, so she went to a university. She wasn't the top of the class there, but she still got A's and B's mostly. She moved to America shortly after she got her PhD mainly because she couldn't stand her house and the loneliness between those walls. She hoped that she could find a job as a teacher in America, but settled down as a Library employee at the moment.
Hobbies;
"I don't really know... Stuff."
Sam likes to read and write, and enjoys being surrounded by books, any kind. Her favourite book genre is fantasy and science fiction, even though she is a physicist. She also likes to describe things, writing or simply explaining, as teachers do. She plays the piano, mostly classical and rock.
Family;
"Mom, dad, no siblings, cousins."
Basically. She adores her grandma and grandpa as well. Grandpa would always read her newspapers and grandma would bake cookies with her. They never said a word about her religious or sexual preferences and she loves them for that.
Friends;
"I have a couple of them. Caitlyn, from the top of my head."
Caitlyn is that one friend who is really nice to everybody so she accepted Sam just the was she is. She is chatty and outgoing, an opposite to Sam, but they are still friends.
Jonathan was her neighbor since she was a kid, and he was the closest thing she had to a friend when she was a child. Though he's a bit annoying, Sam likes being around him because he is a so called 'nerd', like her, so they share a couple of interests.
