Okay, I see, I quite like Pipitpelt! I may drop in another time with a hot-headed deputy and her grown-up kits.

It's to do with their hairs ^^ that's why they're born white and develop their points later. In the womb, everyone is body temperature, from their core to their extremities. So they're pure white when they're born. But after a few days, the extremities (limbs, tail, ears, muzzle) are notably colder, and the fur reacts to the temperature change, hence the darker colour. In colder climates, the points may extend up to the rest of their body, hence a low contrast feline. If they're in warm climates, only the extremities will be coloured.
It's all very strange, but the very properties of their fur means, hypothetically, you could put a low contrast seal point in a fridge (not recommended!) and it would turn dark, due to the temperature.

Cats are bizarre in general xD

The idea of a Clan just being utterly confused by a cat who keeps changing colors is amusing.

You know, speaking of genetics, if any of you are interested, there's a dragon breeding site called Flight Rising that's opening up registration in a few days. I'm on there (under the same name as here) and it's absurdly fun!

Oh my, I will definitely take you up on that advice. It'll be loads of fun to develop Starlingface's character more; I definitely want to see her overcome her pride and become a good member of the Clan.

I need help on naming this guy. He's an apprentice for now, and for a suffix I was thinking perhaps Blizzard- would work? And as for his suffix, I believe he would be named for his battle expertise, so -claw will stay, I think.

Name Rating: 9/10
Name Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: The only issue is that Mist- is reserved for pale grey cats with very faint to absolutely no striping. As she has some very noticeable stripes, her prefix doesn't work.
Her suffix works, though, so long as she does plan to have her own litter.
Alternative Name: Craneflower/Silverflower. Both prefixes describe a light grey cat that has tabby markings, and her suffix stays as it is.

Character Rating: 9/10
Character Reasoning: Overall, the only thing I'd suggest is fleshing her out a little more. You have a fair amount of traits to work with, so connecting them together through other traits (a slight vanity perpetuated by kits calling her pretty - which she is - keeps her from getting wet or dirty) shouldn't be too difficult.

Name Reasoning: As he's becoming a skilled hunter, he should get the -whisker suffix.

Image/Description: this is pretty much what I imagined. He'd be a grey and white tabby tom, most likely, or just gray and white. He will most definitely still have his kittypet collar.
Name: Boomer as a kittypet, but I am not sure how he would earn his warrior name, or what it would be. Suggestions?
Gender: male
Clan: Thunderclan
Rank: Warrior
Personality/Skills: Boomer is very skilled with hunting, but not so much fighting. Coming from a kittypet life, living there until he was of two years old, the extent of his combat was not that of a warrior cat. Boomer likes to think that he has all the ladies under his paws and though they tend to get pretty aggressive, he keeps on trying. Boomer's most prominent trait would be determination, but he is flawed when it comes to following the rules if they inconvenience him. This tom struggles with living the life of a clan cat - which will pose for ultimate trouble in his story.
Important Notes: Boomer did not choose willingly to join the clan. His owners left the house, setting him lose for reasons unknown to the tom. He wondered the forest for quite sometime, until a warrior cat patrol from Thunderclan found him in their territory. With a lack of apprentices, the leader decided to allow him a trial period. As the story moves along, Boomer's character will grow and develop, transforming him into a very loyal member of Thunderclan, but never the deputy/leader, as I think those stories are quite overdone.

This is a larrrrge skeleton and I apologize if this is just atrocious. I thought I'd test the waters, and see what you thought c:

Boomer is a great name for a cat, let's be real here. Also, you should probably find a picture of a grey and white cat, because that kitty's black and white.
I will be going on grey-and-white patched names here, but if you change your mind and want him to be a plain grey tabby, let me know.

Name Suggestion: Ternwhisker/Gullwhisker.
Name Reasoning: Both prefixes describe a grey-and-white patched cat, and whisker notes his talent at hunting.

The blurriness makes it hard to really see... I think that's a dilute tortie? But it could also be a light grey tabby, so...

If he's a light grey tabby, then Blizzard- works just fine. If he's a dilute tortie, on the other hand, you know the rules on that.

I have a few images I want to use in a role~play, and I'm clueless what to call them. Honestly they are beautiful.

She loves kits, and would fall for any cute kitten. She's not intrested in talking, unless it's someone she actually likes to work with.
