He has a certain intuition in general, and he's probably had 1 or 2 mundane run-ins with wolves in the past, though he always runs away

For now his eyes are just purple and cool, but I'll probably ask Kot if they can have some sort of special magic power that's not OP

And it'll be this secret thing you would have to figure out

Okay so let me just clear some things up so everyone is on the same page- if you have a werewolf hunter you are automatically in the tight knit society... Your character should know all of the other hunters as to be a hunter there has to be a lineage going on like you were introduced into it somehow. People don't just know they exist, you know? I will make this more clear on the front since a lot of people have been joining with rogues.

As for purple eyes- i kinda missed that part i am not sure i am okay with it, as much as a fantasy roleplay as this is, i would like it to be as realistic as possible... perhaps maybe he has contacts that allow him to see things people cannot, that are purple... think of it as like spy gear maybe? But the purple might give away that he has tools in his eyes... Just a thought. I just have too many cross plots going to have powers introduced. But like night vision or maybe to see scents would make sense.

oh yeah, m'k about the eyes, I just thought it would be a cool thing, him not knowing his eyes were magic and such, which caused him to be paranoid to a crazy extent, but if you're not comfortable with it m'k then, I just thought the an enchantment, or some weird curse would make more sense than random deus ex machina technology, but it's your rp so you can decide whatever

the contacts could be some spooky heirloom that he just wears without any real understanding of the effects, he could just see people who are werewolves with some odd glow around them...

But he isn't even aware of hunter society yet, once we get into full swing, there could be some odd crowded event, long after he learns about wolves and hunters, where he just points out npc Wolves like it's no problem

Too bit of a powerplay honestly.
It is a nice, pretty cool idea. But not what Koty really has in mind here, shes very logical and realistic when it comes to her RP so for her not to be in favor of it, its nice you want to tweak it, but for now we shall settle on them being considered colored contacts.
And she will definitely let us know if we can come up with anything more extensive. Shes very good that way.

To add, I do have a bit of concern where your silver weaponry is coming from if this dude just moved here (is new), has no job (no money, no connections, no silver) so I'm confused there. Might want to work a bit on his backstory just for character base's sake. Thinking it might help. And we can totally help you out on it, too.
Im just bringing in the fact that this RP is meant to be much more realistic than fantasy, hence also some of the rules there.

EDIT: For clarification: like if he doesnt know werewolves exist, how would he know sikver is effective. and if he has no job and no parents and no connections, where is he getting it from? Why does he have it? Yknow? ♡ am hoping i make some sense here ^^ and we will help you. I like the fact hes a weird loner. Can totally relate and vibe off of that lol

he's relatively certain they exist, and again, is irrationally afraid of them, also, it's pretty common knowledge that werewolves are supposedly weak to silver.

and I understand where you're coming from about the eyes, but I just thought it would make up for him being pretty weak all around

His backstory will get more developed as he makes relationships and starts trusting and telling characters about his history, I think it's more interesting to reveal information that way

Okay so this is what im thinking and let me know if this is a fair compromise. If youre going for an heirloom, lets do like sunglasses that can track aura. Maybe he doesn't know what this means just yet like how the different auras look and what they mean but he can see the difference. If you want contacts, for eye color sake that's cool too and you can give the contacts this ability if you prefer that over the glasses, but lets say its his own invention rather then heirloom- idk about you but sharing contacts under any circumstance is crazy and also impossible since they only last up to a year lol So if you want the purple contacts that do this, then lets say their his invention.

Also- Something else i should have mentioned, i didn't think of it until LadyWolfBlood brought it up.... Silver doesn't work on werewolves in this rp - like she said i go VERY realistic and i switched it up to Nightshade, its a dark purple flower that actually exists in the world and it is poisonous to most animals who don't naturally occur in the area, as it is an invasive plant species. So as werewolves don't naturally occur in nature, it is one of the only plants that can defer/injur and even kill a werewolf at high dose... And night shade is free you just have to find it which makes it easier to come by for hunters.

Does this seem fair ? If not then maybe keep building off of it and we will figure it out ^.^

so, after doing some research, I found that people can naturally be born with purple eyes, it's an incomplete form of albinism, a notable example is actor Elizabeth Taylor, who has violet eyes in exactly the shade I imagined him having. for now we can just leave the glasses, and have him eventually find them when you see fit, I think this is fair for pretty much everyone

Its common knowledge in this day and age but 20 years ago you would have had to go look it up in folklore or see an old TV show. Ots like if werewolves existed NOW, there is no way of proving they are actually 'allergic' to silver. So, no silver jewelry, no silver spoons, just like think about it. In this day and age it would be terribly inconvenient and obvious. So in this RP they dont know what we know which is the stereotype that has been publically overly announced werewolves apparently cant stand silver.
So just throwing that out there. What is standard knowledge to you will not hold in this RP, necessarily.
Also, nightshade is also fairly poisonous to humans, is it not?

In general, for all hunters, you cant be all Van Helsing, guys, sometimes you just.. need to act like an 18 year old with no clue. Sorry. Not all teens that want to act as LONE hunters with no visible training or parents are gona know this stuff without a special story. As Cole's case, a journal his dad left him.

Just being realistic, and firm. So, some form of background and insight on how he knows what he knows, how he gets his things and how he pays for them, etc. is needed to sustain his character as a whole and do this RP right. Think it out a little bit. Again, we can help.

Was doing some research a while back for RPing an albino to have white hair. Too much trouble. Lots that go with that, ie needs loots of sunscreen, susceptible to certain diseases, etc. Nice job doing some research on him. Like that. *thumbs up*
