What are Blood Keys?
Blood Keys are an ancient type of celestial key rarely found in the world. They are incredibly powerful and very dangerous and were outlawed by the Magic Council a long, long time ago. There are ten over all, each one quite frightening and dangerous in its own respect. Very few who've faced a blood key lived to tell the tale. They are to be avoided at all costs.

Where can you find a Blood Key?
Well, currently there are only five keys who's locations are known. Two kept locked away by the Magic Council, one in the private collection of a wealthy businessman, one stumbled upon by Nai Dragneel of Fairy Tail, and the fifth held by the celestial mage Jace Carmichael of Blue Pegasus. The other five haven't been seen in many years and their current whereabouts are unknown.

How do you summon a Blood Key?
Blood Keys appear as normal celestial gate keys except colored a dark, blood red. However, unlike other keys you don't summon them with just words and magic. These ones also require blood.
A blood key requires three drops of blood dripped upon it to be summoned along with the usual words of 'open, gate of the ___, ___!' Less than three does nothing and more will increase their power, but also their bloodlust. The more blood dripped onto their keys the more dangerous they become, so no more than five drops is suggested. A simple prick of the finger.

What do Blood Spirits look like?
They vary, as do most spirits, but the one common trait they all have is that they're all completely crazy and very, very creepy. Sometimes just down right scary. Most have humanoid forms, though two of the keys more closely resemble other creatures.

Why are they dangerous?
Blood Spirits are incredibly dangerous for multiple reasons. 1) They are extremely powerful. 2) They are for the most part completely mad. 3) They care little to nothing about human life, including that of their contractor. 4) They have little to no loyalty towards their contractor and will in fact turn against them if they feel they aren't treated fairly, they don't like who they're contracted to, they don't want to listen, or simply just because they think it'd be fun.

Persephone - Queen of the Underworld: Appearance, Location: Unknown
Played By: Open
Origin of Name: In Greek mythology Persephone was the Queen of the Underworld as well as the goddess of Spring and innocence.
Brief Description: Persephone is an elegant, eerily beautiful and creepy spirit. Probably the most powerful of the Blood Keys, she's a lethal beauty with intent to kill and has a certain level of power over the other keys. While most blood spirits aren't afraid to attack each other, one would never dare go against the Queen of the Underworld.
BEYOND LETHAL: Dead on sight.

Boo - The Childish Spirit: Appearance, Location: Owned by Nai Dragneel of Fairy Tail

Origin of Name: The word 'boo', often used as a sign of scary things for young children.
Brief Description: Undeniably the cutest of the Blood Spirits, Boo is also by far the weakest. Shy and easily frightened, she is a spirit representing the fears and worries of a child. Though she isn't extremely powerful or lethal, if fed too much blood she can potentially become very lethal like her brothers and sisters.
Potentially Lethal: Try to avoid.

Blackout - Spirit of Darkness: Appearance, Location: Owned by Jace/Aaron Carmichael of Blue Pegasus

Origin of Name: Their ability to cause blackouts.
Brief Description: Blackout is the most mysterious of the Blood Spirits. Their gender and true name are unknown as they have never been clearly seen. When summoned, the lights go out, even outside. Blackout makes their entire surroundings nearly pitch dark, making it near impossible to see anymore than an outline of their figure.
EXTREMELY LETHAL: Run!

Lillith - The Fallen Angel: Appearance, Location: Unknown

Origin of Name: In the religion of Christianity, Lillith was an angel who fell from heaven after using unholy methods to try and become equal to her husband Adam. She became the first demoness.
Brief Description: Once an angel, Lillith fell from grace when she grew evil, becoming a spirit of bloodlust and and malicious intent. Beautiful and elegant in an eerie way, much like Persephone, she is probably the most enchanting of the spirits. Lillian is also the most manipulative, though, and has a talent for deception.
Very Lethal: Avoid if possible.

Koroshiya - The Assassin: Appearance, Location: Owned by a wealthy businessman in his private collection
Played By: Implosion
Origin of Name: The Japanese word for 'one hired to kill; hit man'. Also a reference to the popular series 'Ichi The Killer'.
Brief Description: An attractive young man with a gun, at first glance Koroshiya doesn't appear all that frightening. However, once you look into his eyes you'll see he is far from gone with not a shred of mercy or sanity in those blue orbs. He is beyond mad and very dangerous because of it.
Very Lethal: Avoid if possible.

Ligeia - The Undead Maiden: Appearance, Location: Locked away by the Magic Council
Played By: Rogue
Origin of Name: A character in one of Edgar Allen Poe's stories. Ligeia was a woman who died of illness. Her husband remarried afterwards, but that wife grew ill and died as well. However, she came back to life during the night, not as herself, but instead as Ligeia.
Brief Description: A pretty young girl with long, raven hair, Ligeia has vivid red eyes and a horror film grin. A dangerous and bloodthirsty spirit, she's one of the most violent and vicious of the Blood Spirits, attacking mercilessly even without command. She loves to fight and to take down her enemies. She's also the most loyal of the Blood Spirits, although that may not be a good thing. She's extremely possessive of whoever holds her key to an unhealthy and even dangerous point.

Onikuma - The Demon Bear: Appearance, Location: Unknown

Origin of Name: Onikuma is a creature of Japanese mythology, a demon bear that steals horses.
Brief Description: A stuffed bear, about normal size, that is normal on one side and evil on the other. This demonic spirit is far more violent and malicious than you might think and extremely dangerous. You do not want to meet him

Black - Ghost of Purity: Appearance, Location: Locked away by the Magic Council

Origin of Name: . . . It was the name of the gif and I got lazy.
Brief Description: Black is a spirit representing purity. He has two forms, 'unpure' and 'pure'. Unsure is his regular form, a young adult male with black hair. However, when 'purifying himself' his hair turns white, a process meant to represent purification and the transformation from one thing to another. He is extremely powerful, particularly in his 'pure' form and beyond dangerous. Certainly one of the most powerful blood spirits.

Laufeia - Spirit of Chaos and Destruction: Appearance, Location: Unknown

Origin of Name: Laufeia is the Norse goddess of chaos and destruction.
Brief Description: Insane. Laufeia causes chaos and destruction wherever she goes, both purposefully and not. Things always break around her and she often causes earthquakes and other natural disasters.
Very Lethal: Avoid if possible.

Caelestis - The Phantom Master: Appearance, Location: Unknown

Origin of Name: Basically, Black Butler. Ciel Phantomhive. Caelestis, Master of Phantoms. Phantom. Master. Ciel means sky in French and Caelestis means of the sky in Latin. I basically disguised my laziness. Clever, right? I'm proud of it.
Brief Description: A regale young male, Caelestis appears as a handsome teenage boy dressed in Victorian era style clothing. One eye is enchanted, his pink and marked one, and the source of his powers mainly comes from there. He is very polite and formal, acting as a perfect gentleman. However, that doesn't make him any less evil and malicious than the other ones. He's very conniving and clever, always plotting and scheming. He thinks everything through quite intelligently. You do not want to mess with him.
Very Lethal: Avoid if possible.


Extra Notes

• Anyone can play one of these spirits if they want. I made them but I do NOT need ten more characters. Just ask if you want to play one.

• No, these spirits are not immediately available for grabs. Remember, they're both lost and illegal. They will pop up here and there at some point, so if you want one there will be opportunities. So unless you have a very specific reason why you want one, please be patient.

• On the same topic, the reason why Jace has one has to do with future plot points. It's kind of a secret, but you'll find out later and then it will make sense why he has one. Trust me.

• Honestly, there's no reason why Nai has one. I just happened to be talking to Kitty and asked if Nai wanted any. She asked for the most innocent one, so she got Boo. *shrugs*

"N-nothing." Drake, is in fact, a Celestial Spirit, he had killed his previous owner after her abusing him and now he is stuck. He can only get back if someone was willing to take his key, but he is afraid of Celestial Wizards. ( Much like what happened to Leo )
