Appearance ➼ Coalfur is a medium build tom with fur of various brown shades. He earns his name from the dark brown, almost black legs and face. Amber eyes contrast the dark fur. His fur is long, which is effective for the bitter colds that mountain altitudes can bring, however unfortunate in the summers when the heat starts to creep in.
Personality ➼ Coalfur operates on his own moral code in addition to the warrior code. He values intelligence and strategy over brawn. He is the type to think before he acts or even speaks, which often leads to a more introspective approach to simple aspects of the warrior life such as hunting, fighting, and scouting. He is fascinated easily by mysteries and is eager to learn anything and everything he can. Knowledge drives him in training, and he is very attentive, to both older and younger cats. He's the cat who would visit the elder's den until he himself became an elder to learn all of the stories and histories they could remember, and then eagerly share his knowledge with those around him.

okok sorry it's so late

did a slight timeskip to afternoon, did a tiny update, basically, brightnoise has treated as many cats as could be,
not sure if shadowclaw returned to camp, but working under the assumption that tobias, mousepaw, and timber have all been taken to camp, if anything in my post is wrong or you don't want that, feel free to write otherwise, we can pass off that my cats are confused due to exhaustion xD

brightnoise is in camp but may slip out of camp to try to find some coltsfoot in case anyone has issues with breathing due to the dust and everything
faircrown is resting near timber, but his question is directed to anyone that may be nearby
frostpaw is still by the western border, searching desperately for his mom. now that twoleg activity has died down for the evening, he's hoping to check closer to the explosion site

The update, hope this helps. Cats are mostly in camp, relaxing after a hard day. There was an explosion in the mines at the western border that morning.

scarabstar is a foreward thinker, someone who likes things to be clearly mapped out and a tom who
doesn't like big changes or when things don't go according to plan. he's a bit on the quiet side and known
to be hesitant, always taking a moment or two to think things through. because he's known to analyze
every aspect of something, he usually adheres quite stubbornly to his decisions because what he has
decided was reached through careful thought and deliberation. regardless, he tries his best to listen to
what other cats have to say, and while it is possible to get him to change his mind, he does not like to
admit that he was wrong. scarabstar is an acquired taste, but he truly means well and enjoys helping
out his clanmates, though it is easy for him to get overwhelmed. it's difficult for him to accept help
from others (as he usually likes to do things himself), but he is usually relieved when he finally does.
he tends to surprise cats with his thoughtfulness and compassion, as he's not usually known to be
outwardly affectionate towards others. cats who get on his bad side, though, are usually treated to
a cold, bitter tom who takes a long time to forgive and trust once those things are lost.

scarabstar was the only kit born to his parents, but he was raised solely by his mother since his father
died shortly before his birth. dustytail always told him that his father was to bold for his own good, and
encouraged her son to be more careful and to think about his actions. besides that, scarabstar had a
relatively normal life growing up and excelled as a fighter during his apprenticeship. he was elected as
the clan's deputy once he proved his keen sense of strategy, and though he never wanted to be clan
leader, he takes his job very seriously.

plumsparrow is a noticeably sheepish molly, always hanging around where she will draw the least
amount of attention and hardly ever speaking her mind even if she really, really wants to. when cats do
speak to her, she gets fidgety and stumbles over her words a lot, even though her mind knows perfectly
well what she wants to say. thus, she sees herself as a bit of an embarrassment and avoids conversations,
hoping her clanmates don't think the same but assuming they do. though reserved, plumsparrow is not
cowardly and is instead rather curious, often exploring on her own when she has nothing else to do and
no friends to call her own. when she is given a task, however, she sticks right to it, not believing in
doing her jobs halfway. deep down, a part of her craves attention, and a small compliment goes a
long way for her. she's incredibly sweet, but is very conscious of expressing it due to thinking most cats
are annoyed by or just simply don't like her.

lavenderpaw is a well-mannered she-cat and is generally a favorite among the older cats of the clan.
she's respectful and humble, hardly ever one to talk back or make a rude remark to those outranking her.
among her peers, though, she is bold and fiery, tolerating little in the form of cats trying to walk all
over her, and is a fierce ally to those who get pushed around. she is, however, one of tough love, and
does not believe in mothering other cats. she's very goal-oriented and wants to excel at everything that
is expected of her, though she always pushes herself to do more. she can be sharp at times, but usually
she's chipper and an avid conversationalist. she's been known to be manipulative to get at what she
wants, and fires back at those who wrong her with petty retaliation. lavenderpaw enjoys getting under
other cats' skin and is a sneaky prankster who garners enough approval among the older cats in the
clan to get away with things with a slap on the wrist at most.

lavenderpaw was the pride and joy of her parents, and though they gave her endless love and support,
they were very adamant about raising a dutiful daughter who could offer all of her talent to her clan.
lavenderpaw revered her father, whitepine, who was clan deputy for a whisper of time before he got
sick from unknowingly drinking from a pool of water tainted by the twoleg monsters. ever since his
death, she has nurtured a blistering hatred for twolegs and would love nothing more than to drive them
off of bearclan territory once and for all.
