I would like to add something concerning possession - I stated it in the discord, but also posting it here for those who do not have access to that.
Possession must be talked about out-of-character (and publicly; either here or on the discord) BEFORE anything happens, and all parties involved must agree in order to have it happen canonically. Otherwise, it is akin to 'god-modding/powerplaying', which is not allowed here.
Also just a general reminder that characters may not be killed without expressive permission of their creators (NPCs, of course, can be killed at any time)

Let's try to keep things chill for now as well - we need to give our characters a break from the traumatic events that they have witnessed the previous night.

With regards to public concern, I will be updating The Shadow's powers of possession to the following:

The Shadow can possess mortals and immortals alike, though only temporarily for immortals, by spreading a part of itself into the vessel through the mouth. Once inside, The Shadow can control the actions of those possessed and also manipulates the thoughts of its vessel with a voice in the vessel's mind. The Shadow can possess multiple beings at a time, depending on the life forces of the vessels. After being possessed, a vessel is constantly terrified and acts like a husk.

For some mystical reason, the possessive powers of The Shadow are weakened significantly by demigods or other half-godly beings. It is reduced to being only able to ignite a haunting and disturbing presence in the minds of its demigod vessels, not alter their actions. The cause is unknown and under investigation.



Also, you have my word that I will only freely use its possessive powers on NPCs (mostly mortals) and will always message you publicly on discord or on this thread if I have any intent on possessing your characters.
